Help tomorrow is d day and I'm flipping
House a 30min walk to city, 15 min walk to beach
Huge garden, 4 sheds
6 bedrooms, 5 ensuites
Needs new kitchen and bathrooms,
Utility room is outside
Needs some building work in kitchen to remove huge cooker thingy
Expensive
House B
5 min walk to beach, 10 to city
Turnkey Condition, all new kitchen etc
4 bedroom, office and 5th bedroom could be hobby room
Large kitchen dining living, 2nd living very small
No ensuite upstairs

Very small garden, very nicely done but no room to play
Area doesn't look as pretty
Cheaper by 87k not including building costs on A
Husband wants house A, I like location of B and fact it's done but afraid I'll regret smaller house

Just seen the plans. B still has 2 bathrooms. A seems to have them shoehorned into already small bedrooms.

always go for location OP

A leaves you with zero savings, four children, pandemic, recession...
B.
B.
B.
B.
B.
I'm a cautious bod, sorry.

I would never go to zero savings when buying a house especially in a pandemic / recession with 4 kids. I would go with B then you have a safety net.

Buy somewhere affordable that has the potential to extend in the future
