OK so one of these is my house and the other two are my local competition. Tell me which listing you like best and why please!

House A - www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-70700079.html

House B - www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65804973.html

House C - www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-70677639.html

B

BoxAndKnife · 09/07/2020 16:29

Put us out of our misery OP!

DorotheaHomeAlone · 09/07/2020 16:30

B for me. Has the garden over A and seems lighter and brighter than C. If I owned C I would be seriously decluttering and asking them to take new photos on a sunnier day.

MashedPotatoBrainz · 09/07/2020 16:31

So the mumsnet consensus on which is best is A or B or C.

Wooosh · 09/07/2020 16:31

Mine is B Smile I hoped it compared favourably.

Thanks for your feedback. I've asked the EA to see if they can crop the picture of the front of the house to remove the yellow car.

Parking is a nightmare in the whole village and downstairs bathrooms are pretty normal in the terraces like mine. Hopefully I'll beat the others to get the first buyer!

I would go and look at all 3 if that was what I was looking to buy. Very little between them.
Concerns about:
Garden, parking potential in A. Some of the rooms also look dark on the photos - but I think it's one room that has a dark and light photo.
B would be my preferred from the pictures.
C, I do t know. There is so thing that makes me nit like ut as much, but I dont know what.

A seems overpriced, unless the location warrants it?

RavenT · 09/07/2020 16:32

Definitely B because of the garden

gutentag1 · 09/07/2020 16:32

I couldn't spend that much money on a house without a garden, so A is out. C feels a bit small inside so B is the winner for me.

JacobReesMogadishu · 09/07/2020 16:32

I like B the best, then A and then C.

B has a nicer garden and seems bright. A is also nice but no garden. C seems cluttered, not as visually attractive and seems more cramped.

JacobReesMogadishu · 09/07/2020 16:33

Ha, I purposefully didn’t scroll in case there had been a reveal of which one was yours. Pleased to see I liked yours best.

JoanofQuark · 09/07/2020 16:37

B for me.

A’s setting is nice but would be off putting to me in the dark.
B has it’s own garden and little to do in terms of updating (although an upstairs loo would be good)
C seemed poky.

Good luck.

milienhaus · 09/07/2020 16:38

Yours is the nicest, best garden and also best decor (not that that’s why you’re supposed to choose but it helps in the photos!).

PinkSpring · 09/07/2020 16:40

I like B

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 09/07/2020 16:41

B due to the garden

Mooserp · 09/07/2020 16:41

B mostly because of the garden

comeasyouare91 · 09/07/2020 16:41

B - prefer it for both indoor and outdoor areas

Badassmama · 09/07/2020 16:43

It’s good that A’s up to show how much better value yours is! Tbf A is my favourite decor wise, but the garden and 10k less would definitely swing it for me and I’d buy yours. C is meh compared to yours.

CharmingB · 09/07/2020 16:43

I did the same as others - didn't even look at other people's comments before making my choice. You'll be pleased to know I chose B too!

Your house is lovely OP. If someone is looking for a property like this, yours will compare favourably I'm sure.

Flamingolingo · 09/07/2020 16:44

They’re all quite similar. I think if that was what I was looking for I’d want to see all 3 and make a decision in the flesh. That would probably be based on the street scene, the way the house faces and the overall feel. (Also if any were smelly that would put me off)

AngusThermopyle · 09/07/2020 16:44

I prefer B, much nicer overall, A comes second, C last, it looks the least put together, more cluttered and darker.

Africa2go · 09/07/2020 16:45

B has the nicest, cleanest décor, but I'd honestly view them all. The added advantage of C - which sets it apart somewhat and why I think it would be the best buy- is the upstairs toilet. This could be a key factor for quite a lot of people, especially as its the type of house that would be used by a young couple / couple with baby or small children who you wouldn't want to be wandering down the stairs by themselves at night to go to the loo.

icelollycraving · 09/07/2020 16:45

B, fresh and brighter. Nice garden. I wasn't paying much h attention until I saw it was Rusthall. I grew up in TW and would love to move back. DH refuses due to parking and traffic. I love TW (and surrounding areas!)

steppemum · 09/07/2020 16:46

A has no garden, so that is out for me.

Apart from garden, the only difference really is presentations and decoration. I don't care what colour the walls are(I would remove all the wallpaper in all of them!) or what the furniture is like, I am only interested in the size and shape of the rooms.

So C has horrible curtains in the bedrooms and looks cluttered, but underneath it has good sized rooms, and the dining room is a good shape/size.
A inside looks nicest, I like the dining room bit (but no garden) Is the kitchen in A larger? It looks wider.
B is also nicely presented. It has the best outside space.

On balance, probably B.

wowfudge · 09/07/2020 16:46

I think A has the better kitchen as the extra foot across makes a difference, but I dislike the white painted steps and fake grass in the back yard. B has a garden and a lawn. If you wanted to live there you'd view all three. The one with the blue door appears to be on a lane rather than a road so parking nearby could potentially be more of a concern there.

BearSoFair · 09/07/2020 16:46

Probably A. Seems to have the better kitchen and bathroom. But B looks like a better garden so I'd definitely consider that too. I'd rule out C, it seems a bit cluttered and just not as appealing.
