Bourton in the Water is seriously pretty!

BelleSausage · 06/10/2019 08:38

Ludlow! My favourite.

Britain’s quite big!!! What kind of area are you thinking of?

wowfudge · 06/10/2019 08:47

Ah - you again OP. Why do you ask?

dillydallyshillyshally · 06/10/2019 08:51

Castle Combe.

dillydallyshillyshally · 06/10/2019 08:51

Or Cromarty.

BeanBag7 · 06/10/2019 08:55

We recently visited a gorgeous village in South Devon called Noss Mayo.
It was quite remote though, I don't think I would want to live there but it was a beautiful place to visit.

borntobequiet · 06/10/2019 08:58

Chipping Campden.

TheWildOnesNeverDie · 06/10/2019 09:01

Broadway (gorgeous at Christmas)
Chipping campden
Bourton on the water
Burford
(They are all near each other)

The Cotswolds in general is a beautiful area to visit :)

Rivergreen · 06/10/2019 18:14

Such a subjective question as to be useless. Eg, to me Castle Combe was an overhyped tourist trap, and most of the Cotswolds leaves me cold.

Give me Downham (Lancs) anytime.

Daffodil2018 · 06/10/2019 18:18

Are you writing a Buzzfeed article or something?

Troutbeck in the Lake District is lovely. A village though.

elQuintoConyo · 06/10/2019 18:32

Stamford. Featured in the BBC drama Midflemarch. Very pretty.

Abstractedobstructed · 06/10/2019 18:46

Rockingham in Northamptonshire, seriously gorgeous.
Earl Soham in Suffolk, though it's a village really.
Stamford is beautiful.

wowfudge · 06/10/2019 19:09

Giving the OP's posting history, I think she's considering a move but surely there are other things to think about than the way a place looks?

I love Downham too.

MrsJoshNavidi · 06/10/2019 19:14

Castle Combe, ilfracombe, St David's, anywhere in the Cotswolds.
