Integrated washing machine or extra cupboard?

Dear wise mumsnetters
I'm looking to sell my house. I have a broken integrated washing machine. Would it be better to replace this or turn the space into another cupboard?
For clarity I have a small utility room where I've put a freestanding washer. But I'll be taking this with me if I move.
What's more attractive to buyers?

If you have landed here looking for recommendations, this thread is a bit old now, so some of the suggestions may be out of date. However, we've recently updated our best integrated washing machine page with lots of great advice, plus a shortlist of the models tried, tested and loved by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful.

I think a cupboard would be more attractive to potential buyers, as you already have a utility room and space for a freestanding washing machine

Another cupboard, given you have a futility room.

I agree that a utility room is a much better place for a washing machine than the kitchen.

Cupboard and buy a washer you can take. I would rather have my washing machine in a utility anyway as I wouldn't want to hear it!

Cupboard.

Integrated washers cost so much more, anyhow, so a freesat do g washer is better, given that you have the space for it.
