Cost of pebble dashing

I know this will vary we have a semi detached 3 bed dormer with large double garage.can anyone share prices for pebble dashing ?

Yes to put it on we are a semi so am much as I would like render it would look silly and pebble dashing it better for weathering on property and we live on the top of a very steep hill so gets a fair battering

There is some really nice light coloured pebble dash these days don't worry I don't actively want to pay for it to look shit

on Scotland it's v normal to have pebble dashing on houses..

I think people on here sometimes forget houses exist outside of England.

Most ex LA houses in Scotland are roughcasted/pebble dashed. Yes it looks shit but would possibly look even odder to be the only rendered house in the street.

No one is saying plenty of houses aren't pebble dashed, what's been said is it usually looks shite, can cause issues, and there are other solutions

I think OP has made it quite clear that it’s what she wants whether it’s because she just absolutely adores that classic council look or to just have the house blend in with the rest of the street.

It is ugly. No doubt about that. But most people just have it anyway.

The reason pebble dashing is used is to cover up unsightly brickwork so either way you need to have something.

Have you considered cladding?

Could be larch or cedar or composite boards?

Stone cladding?

Self colour render , cedar cladding , ?
Go and get ideas away from pebbledash it is so dated

Be a trendsetter. If you do something different your neighbours may follow.

Unfortunately those options would stick out like a sore thumb I would like to have it rendered light grey but hubby thinks it would look too daft compared to the others and it's double the cost and surprisingly I'm not in love with pebble dash but there are some nicer colours such as very light and o do think some people have been quite rude on the council house comments

Pebble dash doesn’t last forever, people will all be replacing it at some point

In terms of pricing, there's no way we could tell you! It would entirely depend on your area, how big your house is, how many walls you want it on, size of scaffold.
