The oddest floor plan I’ve ever seen.

This house has just come up on my estate.
Not only is it over priced, in my opinion, and they have got the name of the estate wrong but would you look at this floor plan.

The scribble at the top is me covering up the road name.

I'm confused, I've seen loads like that

It looks fairly standard to me tbh, I've been in so many houses just like this.

The only thing that seems a bit odd is the lack of a door into the living room from the hall

I think the OP means what the fuck is up with obviously taking an existing floor plan from another listing, covering up the labels and then handwriting in flowery script, taking a photo of your artwork and uploading that as any sort of an accurate floor plan

It looks normal to me too I’m imagining they’re maximising the available wall space for sofas to sit against in the living room, so the door enters the dining room instead of living room. Ours is similar

Is it on with one of the budget self selling type agents? Where you pay extra for a floor plan? So they have just done their own and uploaded it as an extra photo.

What's wrong with hand drawn?
It's still the same layout? Surely it makes no difference?
I much prefer it over the weird 3D ones and listings without any sort of layout.

That’s not odd at all. It‘s basically a scetch of a floorplan. Quite normal for the early stages of an architectural design. It shows the layout of the house - what else would you need on Rightmove?

Some EAs charge extra for floor plans so the seller is a tight wad

My v pricey estate agent but up their first handwritten copy online- like their notes.
It was a mistake, they just put it up in error

I’m with you OP that’s really odd. No measurements or details of bathroom fixtures or garden size. And one feature fireplace, one 1930s fireplace but the others are just colorised in rectangles. And what’s with the cupboards? You should link to the house itself.

Very weird, I could understand hand drawing it to save money but surely you’d invest 30p in a ruler to ensure it had straight lines and was roughly to scale!

Really odd. Is it genuinely hand drawn, or is it a special effect? Never seen one like that.
