I would never be so brave but think they’re have actually managed to pull it off!

I like the view they have got.
My house is decorated in very bright colours but I think the owners of this one have overdone it.

Oblomov18 · 07/12/2018 13:28

Vile. I don't like it at all.

A580Hojas · 07/12/2018 13:30

What an amazing house! wonderful property. I do find the decor a bit much, but the bones of the house itself ... gorgeous.

User10fuckingmillion · 07/12/2018 13:32

Terrifying

GimbleInTheWabe · 07/12/2018 13:37

Monsoon carrier bag Grin the perfect description!

I don't hate all of it. Quite like the hall way and the pink front door. I also like that they've just done what they like, why not eh? I am a fan of the griege look personally but think this is kinda cool. I also like that it's £550k for a 4 bed period townhouse, but then again I live in London ha.

Kitchen misses the mark though as does the sitting room. Could imagine living there though!

Much prefer this place swoons.
What's Hastings like though? Deaths waiting room?

MrDonut · 07/12/2018 13:50

That place is so bland, Gimble. It has no personality.

MrDonut · 07/12/2018 13:51

It's literally 50 shades of grey.

GimbleInTheWabe · 07/12/2018 13:55

I totally agree @MrDonut and that's why I'd prefer to live in that house compared to the one OP posted.

GimbleInTheWabe · 07/12/2018 13:56

A lack of WCs in both houses though!

IrianOfW · 07/12/2018 13:58

Most of the designs are way too busy for me but I like the eclectic mixture of stuff.

BestestBrownies · 07/12/2018 14:00

That's pricey for Hastings!

There are elements of the first (colourful), house I like, but I don't think they have pulled it together very well.

Smush the two house styles together and you've got a winner! ;-)

whifflesqueak · 07/12/2018 14:02

I hate it but have to admire it in a way.

Orangecake123 · 07/12/2018 14:04

I like it in an odd sort of way.

GimbleInTheWabe · 07/12/2018 14:06

Yeah I think I agree @BestestBrownies. If the 50 shades house had a bit more personality then it'd be great and an extra bathroom!!

happyclutterchucker · 07/12/2018 14:06

My eyes Shock

Awesome garden though, and a fantastic house, if you can take your sunglasses off for long enough to admire it.

AnnabelleLecter · 07/12/2018 14:10

I like the flamingo head!
We have similar colours so I like them but it's ott and not relaxing or cosy enough.
They've tried a bit too hard.

BlueUggs · 07/12/2018 14:10

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 14:36

I like the hallway

Weirdlookingbricks · 07/12/2018 14:44

I love it except for the light shade in the first room and they should have painted the ceilings white.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 07/12/2018 14:45

Absolutely love it

VelvetGreen · 07/12/2018 14:45

I like it and am not at all phased by the busyness as i'm definitely in the more is more camp. It is let down though by being over-designed - if it looked like it had evolved over time in a genuinely eclectic way it would be more successful. As it is it is too contrived.

Weirdlookingbricks · 07/12/2018 14:46

I'd need whoever did that first house to run amok in the second before I'd live there. It's a nicer house but very yawn.

Concernedaboutgran · 07/12/2018 14:46

It looks like a set from a children's TV show. Not a good look.

lll77 · 07/12/2018 15:38

that's a Marmite house if ever I saw one Grin

On for £219, 000 more than it sold for in 2014 too..!
