Dulux Timeless or White Jasmine?

Seriously I am driving myself mad looking at the walls I've sploshed samples on, and I just cannot decide between these two!!!

It's for an entire hallway so I feel the pressure to get it right or it'll be a costly mistake.

In fairness I don't think either would a 'mistake' but I'm over-thinking it a bit now...

Timeless

Timeless. Painted this and last house almost entirely in it, looks good under most lights and stands test of time very well.

That's two votes for Timeless... tbh I'm veering that way too, in daylight the White Jasmine has a very faintly peachy-apricoty tone that I do quite like but not for a hallway.

Am just trying to get past the idea that Timeless is a bit... well... boring?

It is lovely, though. And for a hallway you don't exactly want a Big Statement, do you, you just want nice and airy.

I also don't want 'too' white as I find it cold and i absolutely loathe the stark white we've currently got on the walls, inherited from former owners (who clearly loved white).

Timeless if you want a white with more warmth than PBW but not creamy
Jasmine more yellow-toned and more towards cream

oh dear, I don't KNOW what I want. I thought I wanted something creamier but maybe that's just because I'm so sick of the bright white on the walls right now. And perhaps something cream would be a step too far.

Honestly, this stuff shouldn't even matter this much. It's a very very very first world problem...

I'm on the brink of using timeless in the hallway too. But I'm now wondering if I will need to repaint all the woodwork with Timeless aswell. It is currently PBW so won't the walls look odd? And the ceiling too .

Timeless would be my vote without knowing what your natural light is; imo looks fresher/less muddy but not stark in my northeast facing hall/stairs.

I have white satinwood bannister/skirtings/ceilings & they look fine.

Timeless with PBW woodwork looks vg in our hall.

Timeless gets my vote too. I've just been through the timeless vs jasmine white decision too but the former won out. All our woodwork will be painted pbw too

We have the Jasmine, it has the yellowy tint, thats why we got it. I like it.

We used both in different rooms, much prefer the Timeless. WJ looks a bit yellowy, like it needs re-doing.

I'm using White Cotton. Liked it more than Timeless for our hall :)

We're using Timeless everywhere. Jasmine White has a tint to it in my eyes.

I have Timeless in my hall with PBW skirtings. Looks great.

We have just painted our new kitchen/diner/snug extension in timeless with pure brilliant white satinwood woodwork and it looks lovely. Hall, stairs and landing in timeless will be next...

Our North-facing sitting room is in Timeless with with PBW ceiling and woodwork. I like it. I am vaguely tempted to do the whole house in PBW, but I will probably resist.

I was soooo disappointed with the jasmine. Don't get that one.

I love crown milk white. White but not PBW and seems to take on the tones of other things in the room, carpets etc so the same white throughout the house can appear different in each room. Much easier on the eye than PBW but no yellow tone so tends to look clean. Reminds me of the soft white galleries etc tend to use.

Oh dear and I was just leaning towards the jasmine... I quite like the creamy yellow tone but comments here (for which many many thanks btw!!!) are making me look again and wonder if it looks a bit yellowy and not 'clean' enough... I think I am being swayed by its warmth in comparison to the stark white we have at the mo and which I loathe more with each passing day...

Will paint a larger section with timeless tomorrow and see how I feel about it now.
