What is the cheapest house and most expensive house for sale in your area?

The 350k thread was interesting but it made me wonder about the cheapest and most expensive houses on offer, so what are they where you live?

Not where I live (not wanting to out myself) but where a friend we visited recently lives.

In our village highest 1.8 million lowest £280,000 (for a one bedroomed wooden hut!)

If I expand out the area though its very different since it takes in the outskirts of a city where the lowest prices are lower.

Within 5 miles of us:

Cheapest is a studio for 307,500
Most expensive is a 6 bed house for £8,500,000 in 0.4 acres

Locally, dearest is £1.75m for a 7-bed detached in a great location at the edge of town, & cheapest is £90K for a 2-bed terrace

5-mile radius, dearest is c £3m for 6-bed country house plus a farmhouse & 163 acres. Cheapest is o.o. £30K for 2-bed terrace

Round here the cheapest is a 3 bed ex council for £550k. In this postcode, top is £1.8 million for a 4 bed terrace (large and pretty). Within a mile or two is SW1 so the sky's the limit.

Monopoly money.

Hmm, within one mile of us the cheapest is a 2 bed 500 sq.ft cottage at £235k and most expensive is a 5 bed 4,400 sq.ft at £1.49 million.

Be careful when posting links if you don't want to out yourself as some have contained full postcodes on the search criteria.

Most expensive on RightMove is £65 million, but I know that lots of expensive houses are not posted on there as the owners don't want people to know they are for sale.

Cheapest property which isn't shared ownership is a first floor studio flat with separate kitchen at £149,950. There are shops, garages & shared ownership properties available for less.

2 streets away in one direction is a mid terrace 1950's build ex council house for offers over £90,000. Two streets in the next direction is a nice detached at £800,000. Both are in the catchment area for a good primary.

But I'm very happy with our home - not too big, not too small, great views, fab garden for children and in a lovely village with an excellent school.

In our village a two bedroom cottage for £95,000 and a 4 bedroom detached house with wonderful views for £375,000.

Some of you have posted partial ownership ones where the actual price is much, much higher.
