We are looking for some furniture to match the Victorian house we are moving to (this week!) and have visited Oak Furniture Land. Like every other place, they have a sale on and some interest free options. I like the look and feel of the stuff but wondered if anyone had bought anything from there. The range we are looking at is the rustic oak. Thanking you all (again)!

Update ! After contacting Oak furniture Land's face book page I was contacted by Conner, who offered to investigate my dilemma . He asked me to send a copy of the batch number on the chairs,.He reported to me that there had been a problem with this batch and immediately agreed to ship me 6 new padded seats. Moral here is ,If at first you don't succeed ...... Anyway good outcome .

We made the mistake of buying from them. There were issues with the furniture and we complained. The customer service following that was awful.

I would now buy second hand instead. Much better quality for a fraction of the price.

I have used them a number of times for up-market furnished property. Their turnaround is only a few days which suits me and the quality appears good. No problem with their delivery either.

Turnaround and delivery were ok. It was the aftercare that was dreadful

If i have to compare Oak Furniture Land with Furniture Villa I would say both has quality Oak Furniture and both has good turn around time. It's just I have bought few products from their website and they are tend to be very solid plus easy to install being a single mum it's get difficult to assemble it sometime but if you have a men lol than I am sure it won't be that difficult. Than again it's totally upto you.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm sorry to say I had a terrible experience with this company- the furniture arrived damaged and then I had a terrible time trying to get either a replacement or a refund. Of course everyone's experience is different but personally I'l avoid them at all costs.

Ordered a wardrobe & chest of drawers & paid extra for delivery. Men turned up & told me they wouldn’t get the Furniture up the stairs so they phoned head office. During the wait for a reply, one of the delivery men said, ‘I hate this f**king job’ and proceeded to complain about the company & how often this happened. He then put me on the phone & I was subjected to the most awful customer service experience I’ve ever had. He gave me two options. I could keep the furniture for 7 days & see if my family or friends might want it or I could return it for a fee if £150! He continually referred to the email which was sent after I placed the order which apparently outlined the conditions. I’ve since looked at this email & it is not clear. One week later & the refund wasn’t made so I spent 28 mins on the phone to be told they were waiting to collect the furniture! I explained what happened & was told there had been an error in the system. I then received an email to say they wouldn’t waive the fee & confirming they had made an error & would refund immediately. No apology was made for the error & im still waiting on the refund.

Morale of the story. Go to Laura Ashley.
