8ft Bouncy Castle & slide 70p

I just saw this on MSE, it's 70p + £5.99 delivery - I'm not sure whether all orders will be honoured as the stock seems to be stuck at 3 available although you never know - worth a try!

This is from the T&C:

Our Website contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures prior to acceptance of an order so that, where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, We will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our Website We may at our discretion reject your order without liability to you and notify you of such rejection

We are under no obligation to supply products to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order preparation confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

i have phoned them and they had over 9000 orders over the weekend and every single order is being cancelled. Had my email saying my order has been cancelled. Shame but was to be expected. 70p for a bouncy castle was too good to be true

From reading other sites, people were ordering 10's, 20's, 100's etc at a time instead of 1 or 2 - when people abuse it companies are less likely to honour the mis-price.

Legally the are covered by the terms and conditions to cancel the orders but worth a shot - nothing ventured nothing gained.

It retails for £100 so was meant to be £70.

Just had my cancellation email - not exactly surprised, but, I did think it was a bit off to put 'we have successfully cancelled your order' like they did me a favour!

I havent had a cancellation email yet, i had one to confirm my order and it is still showing as ready for despatch.

I got this email:

PRICING ERROR: Bouncy Castle

Dear customer

We refer to your order for 8ft Bouncy Castle with Slide at 70p, which we recently received.

The Focus website contains a large number of products and it appears that, despite our best efforts, the price of this particular product stated on the Focus website at the time you placed your order was incorrect. The correct price is £70.

This discrepancy came to light after you placed your order. Whilst we automatically charge the correct price where the price quoted is more than the correct price we do reserve the right to reject orders where a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on the website.

In this instance the price shown on the Focus website was so significantly below the correct price that we have decided that we must reject your order, in accordance with paragraph 5 of our Conditions of Business.

The error has now been corrected and if you still wish to order this product at the correct price please would you place a further order.

Please accept our apologies for the disappointment and any inconvenience caused by this error, which we deeply regret.
