The best Black Friday deals

AliceDMumsnet · 09/11/2018 15:13

Black Friday is the shopping event of the year, with huge sales from loads of brands giving savvy shoppers the chance to get their hands on some serious bargains in the run up to Christmas. This year, Black Friday falls on 23 November 2018 and after the success of last year’s live Black Friday thread, the Mumsnet shopping team will once again be here from dawn ‘til dusk on the day helping you find the very best online deals.

Feel free to post any great deals you come across in this thread. If you’re strapped for time, let us know what you’re looking for and we will try our best to source a deal for you.

This year, we’ve partnered with AO.com to bring Mumsnetters great Black Friday deals on tech, electricals and appliances both big and small. AO is an online electrical store who offer free delivery and returns - as well as next day delivery seven days a week. They also offer a fuss free recycling service for your old appliances. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite deals from AO, but if you find the same product for less elsewhere, just let AO know and they will match the price - even if you’ve already bought it. If the price of your Black Friday purchase drops any further AO will refund you the difference.

Quick reminder of how this works: we've selected these deals by scouring the web for bargains that we think MNers will love. We can’t guarantee that every single product has been at its 'pre-Black Friday price' for more than 30 days, but we only pull out offers that seem to us like genuinely good deals on products we know MNers rate.

We do get a small referral % if you happen to buy through these links and, if you post a fantastic offer but don't include a link, MNHQ may edit your post so that other users can easily find it.

John Lewis has amazing prices for Sylvanian families. I got the department store for £70 when it is between £100 and £120 everywhere else. And it was not marked as BF deals.

ajandjjmum · 24/11/2018 20:21

MrsGollach

@BagelGoesWalking Lidl are doing the nutri bullet for £29.99

duckii · 25/11/2018 08:57

Sorry I meant £39.99. (Typing whilst feeding a 6 month old)!

MrsGollach · 25/11/2018 09:05

@ChristmasSprite - their calendar cost the same last year (£79) and is certainly never ever worth what they are claiming the full price as (nearly £300). I'd say that is clever/unlawful marketing.

wizzywig · 25/11/2018 11:47

Are amazons black friday prices fluctuating?

SleeptightDaisy · 25/11/2018 11:52

The b&m near us had the Dyson V6 handheld trigger down to £99 as part of their sale maybe with a check if anyone needs one.

ChristmasSprite · 25/11/2018 13:43

MrsGollach thanks, there is a code to go with it which does seem to make it a good buy, when considering their usual prices. Did you get one last year BTW?
