I was looking at this offer earlier on the money saving expert website.

I'm not entirely sure if this is worth it. The offer I believe (?) is £1 for a main course but for £5.99 you can get a main, drink and desert. So if you then buy the drink and desert separately then surely it's going to come to more than £5.99 or at least the same? Or is this offer £1 for the meal deal?

greathat · 22/08/2018 16:53

It's only for main, but we don't always do desert and my Ds at least is happy with a tap water :)

OP should read:

"For a limited time, Harvester are offering a £1 kids meal with every adult meal purchased."

Not £1 kids meals with every adult meal purchased.

As a single parent with 2 DC, it's not such a great offer, but probably great for 2 parent families.

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 22/08/2018 17:34

It's only valid for one child if you share a sharing meal with another adult, even though there are two adults eating and the meal costs more because there are two people eating from it, obviously. Can you tell I'm a bit annoyed still. It's ok though, because it's in their terms and conditions (!)

Its under 10.

Most kids under 10 don't eat much.

so its a thumbs down from me.

Or...kids eat free at Jamie’s Italian and the parents get to eat half decent food!
