Mine have arrived today. They are nice! Great for backup.

Update - Mine came a couple of days ago, but I was away so have only just had the chance to try them. All seems good so far - no issues with fit or quality and lenses seem fine Smile.

I missed this! Please do another offer?
Just posting to say that I've used GD and others many times. I get eye tests and prescriptions from high street opticians and often buy my main pair there. Then I go online and buy a range of cheapies in different colours and some tinted for sunglasses. This means I have pairs for the car, bedroom, handbag etc. I probably have about 10 pairs including prescription sunglasses. Same for DH.

Mine are in the lab!

I went with two £49 frames (same in different colours)
Pair one with basic lenses, plus tint, I have no prescription sunnies, so this should be a great help. (£49+£10)
Pair two with basic lenses plus an antireflection coating. (£49+£15)

So chargeable is 49/10/15 less the MNdiscount is £40 to pay! I am pretty pleased even without seeing them yet! :o

Had a small to and fro as they wanted my PD and copy of prescription...I had given them the PD, so don't know why they asked again for that, and had forgotten to send a copy of the prescription as I uploaded it ages ago, but they have it now, just a photo attachment sent, so if these are nicely made then I will def order more.

ScreamingValenta · 12/02/2018 22:13

Hope you like them MsHomeSlice. No issues with mine yet.

I was emailed a code for 40% off so I have just ordered another two inexpensive pairs Blush. I am getting hooked on having glasses in different styles and colours after 30 years of more-or-less wearing the same pair day in, day out.

Sunnies arrived on 14th and am pleased with them, they are just a normal tint, I normally get polarising, but was being cheap so I didn't
Finishing of the lenses is good....nicely in the frame and not overly edged off
Set up of frame is a little iffy, one of the arms is splayed out from the front more than the other, so I will need to go get them adjusted other than that the fit is good and they are comfortable.
I am still waiting for the second clear/coated pair so goodness knows what they are doing with those!
Had an email yesterday to say they were in the lab....wondering if they are remaking as I am sure I already had that message. Hmm
