Boots instore have a glitch - the 75ml bottles of Soltan go through the till at buy 1 get five free

I bought 12 bottles tonight for £11. It includes the kids high factor stuff and also the once a day. Factors 15, 30 and 50.

The lady on the till said its a glitch which combines the current BOGOF on sunscreen, with the 3for2 on travel mini bottles. She said it had been flagged to head office but that they weren't bothered!

This worked for me yesterday - not on the Factor 50 ( the nice lady at the till tried for me)but on the once Factor 30. The once stuff is fabulous so even at factor 30 provided its not mega mega hot it will do me.

Oh is it still on? Wow.

I've just done this - 6 bottles for £6.99 much to the amazement of the cashier (who hadn't come across it) and the other customers so thanks very much for the great tip!!

Ask the cashier to price them before ringing them through NQ, tbh I reckon most stores will know about this now anyway.

Apparently it would cost Head Office more to fix the problem than they will lose by leaving it as is so I doubt they've fixed it.

Worked for me today!! My friend works in there and was very 'think you've hit this wtong' it would not work on all of them only got once a day 30 ANC normal 30 so 6 for 6.99. I then realised if had not taken my 10% off (boots contact lense scheme gives 10% off boots own stuff) so she manually removed 70pence

Just tried this today convinced too late and went through. Cashier not happy at all and went to check but sold to me as signs up. She said that she was going to take everything off the shelves to ensure it didn't happen again!!

Just worked for me too - now got 6 bottles of factor 30 once and it lasts 18 months as well!

Still working this morning - I got 6 bottles of factor 30 and 50 for £5.99. Great for days out.

It worked! I snuck to the self service till to do some comparing and I couldn't get the 'kids once' to work but the others did - result!

Worked for me this morning - 6 bottles of factor 30 soltan once for 6.99! In our store the 75ml bottles were part of a 'travel miniatures' section flagged up as 3 for 2, rather than with the rest of the soltan range. cashier knew about the glitch and knew what I was doing - and was happy to give me my bargain!
