Boots instore have a glitch - the 75ml bottles of Soltan go through the till at buy 1 get five free

I bought 12 bottles tonight for £11. It includes the kids high factor stuff and also the once a day. Factors 15, 30 and 50.

The lady on the till said its a glitch which combines the current BOGOF on sunscreen, with the 3for2 on travel mini bottles. She said it had been flagged to head office but that they weren't bothered!

Just thought I'd share

I think the date on them is 18months so yes, we'll definitely use it all (and more!).

I might go back for some more can't believe it's still working!

Haha! Same here Tequila! I don't like having to cart around 3 different full sized bottles whenever we go out so the smaller sizes are ideal.

DP likes to take a bottle to footie and now I won't feel quite so when he loses them!

Tried to use it yesterday in a big store. They had taken them all off the shelves and when I asked about it, was told they had been taken off because of a pricing error.

Tried my local smaller store today and not only were they happy to sell me them, when I asked about the once and children's ones she told me she "would make it work if she had to, as the signs clearly stated the 2 offers" all went through fine though.

absolutely does - I bought a selection this morning. The cashier said this is such a good deal buy one get two free. I said, no, buy one get five free. She almost fell over. Two other members of staff heard and said 'go for it'... I suspect they were off to put some by for themselves. Didn't seem to know about the deal but happy to sell it. A decent selection left on shelves (a fairly small Surrey/Middlesex branch)

Umm didnt work for me on Friday it was buy 1 get 2 free

So I paid around £6 for 3 or abound £11 for 6

That seems to tally with the amounts most people on here are paying for buy1 get 5 free doesn't it?
Maybe I'm not reading it correctly?

I bought 6 at the boots in Bluewater and it worked. I did use the self scan till just in case it didn't though :o)
