Sun holidays request for priority booking numbers

Hi as the Sun holidays are due back in early January I thought I would start a priority code request thread as in previous years these threads have proved popular.

Generally the person offering the code contacts the poster at the top of the list and offers the code via PM. Once accepted the person receiving the code takes themself off the list and copies and pasts the remaining names onto a new post

I dont receive codes - they are issued at random - but I am eternally grateful to Eddas who kindly gave me one so we could go on holiday one year.

Hopefully this thread will enable other mumsnetters to go on holiday this year.

The daily mail holidays are from Tuesday I think.
I paid for my code on ebay, as it turned out I was entilted to one anyway.
When are the PC letters or emails being sent out?

Can anyone tellme the difference between the sun holiday and the mail holidays and which they think are better?

Has anyone been sent their code yet? I usually get one and havent yet, But saw something in the paper yesterday?

I haven't been sent my code yet, if it doesn't arrive email them.

I've taken my name off the list, as for some reason I've been sent a priority code in the post this morning :)

Hi everyone,
I have just read these posts and I am unsure what codes are for. I thought you simply collected tokens from the paper every day and then sent off your application form. I have never used it but would like to take the children away this year and this will be my route it do so. If anyone has time would they please explain why codes are needed. Thank you in advance.

Hello you can do it that way but the priority booking codes are debt out randomly to previous bookers therefore enabling you to have more choice over dates/location.

Add your name to the list and you may get lucky.

I also don't understand what this code thing is, but I am eagerly awaiting the start of this offer again.
If someone could pm me and explain what this code is about then I would love to be added to the list.
