I can't see any support thread for 2026 entry for North london, feeling anxious about the results coming out this Friday! Anyone feeling the same??

@newmummycwharf1 we also received offer from habs - is this your first choice? We are waiting for ucs.

Habs is son's first choice. We are conflicted between Habs and Westminster. Lets see what that brings! Whats your first choice?

UCS but habs came with sports scholarship so let’s see. Good luck!

We got STAHS and Habs for our DD! So pleased and relieved (and delighted to be done once and for all with all the 11+ 💩!!).

We loved both schools but accepting STAHS as our local, walkable option.

Good luck with the outstanding offers (especially for St Albans School where DS is!).

DD got a Highgate offer!!

Just wondering – did City ask you to confirm that you’d accept immediately if a place came up? Or whether you’re going with another school?

Anyone here with NLCS offer? Dd got all her offers and a couple of scholarships. Am wondering if we just go with NLCS or go to offer days to see what other schools have to offer.

opinions on value of offer days? Particularly between habs girls and NLCS

We loved the NLCS offer holders day a few years ago. It actually helped us to move that needle towards it. A great school by all counts.

So we got Highgate and UCS and then reserve list for City.

@midod yes City asked if we would accept straight off and it's our first choice so I've said yes, which frankly means more waiting, but we'll also be super happy with Highgate, so all good.

We are currently on the short reserve list for Highgate. We applied for a bursary, so maybe that’s the reason. My son was very upset and cried yesterday because his music scholarship interview went very smoothly, and the Head of Music seemed to promise him something. He felt very confident that he would receive an offer. As I know, City list will have big movement, good luck!

You should definitely go to the Offer Holder Days! It gives you such a better sense of the school's vibe and the potential demographics of the year cohort. We went to a few, including NLCS, and the experience actually changed our perspective in a very positive way toward the school

City reserve list - is there any movement there, does anyone know from previous years?

Please don't debate Habs vs NLCS. NLCS is fundamentally a superior school in basically every aspect!

My youngest sister went to Habs. The other one currently has a DD at NLCS.

So you’re basing this unequivocal view on the experiences of a sibling, what, 5/10/15/20+ years ago….?
