HI everyone.
Tears here too. I think its the same as the first half term, novelty has worn off and she still has to go to school. Also she is a little worried about a dinner lady that is quite firm with them, that they eat their dinner. DD says she does and she doesn't need telling all the time. So my mum did the run today and told the teacher what dd had said. Apparently teacher was a star and let it be known others feel the same and that this is not an isolated issuette. [Not exactly an issue, but certainly a thing. ]
So we'll see.
paisley - must have been a shock. Shows how useful these checks can be, when done the right way with good feedback and follow up. So its good it has been picked up [relatively] early. I know in my day problems went on for years before people clicked and thought of eye sight. I think my first test was at 9 before going up to middle school! Hopefully the specialist will have more info for you, on what this means for your dd. Which will hopefully be nothing at all or very little.
Am thinking ya boo sucks to Panto. My mum will be gutted Ont he other hand local ones are very reasonable in price, so the 2 of them could go and do a runner if it is unpleasant.
I want to go to Beatrix Potter Ballet at the Royal Opera House, but s tickets are about £80 and it involves 3.5 hours each way on the train, this seems unlikely. I live on the bloody outskirts of humanity
Roundabout - hope she settled and comes bounding out at 3.30. I think you are dead right, change in routine and change in reactions from gp's etc. Bless her.
We have dentist after school, 1st time in 18 months as we forgot to go last year [I was in hospital with ?prem labout to be faair] and I haven't dared ring until Aug. This was first appt! I hope her teeth are ok
