how fab.

and to re-inflate your bubble.......none of mne have ever been published!!!!

(not that I have heard of said book, or comp, but hey...still......never been published, or won a school competition or nuffin!)

you go girl......you and your G&T girlie

Psychomum5 · 04/03/2008 18:16

of course, when their mum can;t even spell MINE, they don;t have a good gene pool to start with do they...

Ledodgy · 04/03/2008 18:18

It's fab that she could write all those words herself at 4!

Cam · 04/03/2008 18:22

...And I was just as thrilled as you are

princessmel · 04/03/2008 18:23

Um ds did this too.
They don't write all the words. They just fill in the gaps.
ds's had all the same lines but with his fave things in like 'sausages' instead of burgers and 'hot wheels' instead of Killer Boy rat cd. What is that BTW!!??

I didn't buy the book as it was £13 and I thought it would just be full of other childrens poems with different words in the gaps .

But they gave us a print out of his poem so we're going to put it on his wall.

Its still a cute, fab, brill, poem though!!!

tortoiseSHELL · 04/03/2008 18:26

Oh that's lovely. Have to confess I pmsl at 'burgers and lemonade' - you are brave writing it here! Were you tempted to change it to 'I just love lentils to eat'

YThis is ds's

My name is Luke and I go to big school
My best friend is Matthew who is really cool
I watch Scooby doo on TV
Playing with lego is lots of fun for me
I just love chocolate to eat
And sometimes sweets for a treat
Yellow is a colour i like a lot
My Transformer is the best present I ever got
My favourite person is Cameron, who is a gem
So this, my first poem, is just for them.

He said choc not sausages.
Healthy choices!!

I have thrown ds's away, but I think it mentioned chocolate, power rangers and tv

mrz · 04/03/2008 19:53

The children all get a bookmark for writing a poem and the school may win £500 ...
