8+ Entry 2023 - WUS, CC, KCJS ,sussex house

Dear Mumsnetters,

My son is sitting 8+, so I thought I start one to share our experiences and support each other.
We are waiting for WUS and sussex house results, fingers crossed. He will be doing CC tomorow.

njshore, the interview took place yesterday for my son. Hoping for good news, as he had a great time yesterday with the other boys.

I haven’t heard from neither WUS or SPJ.
I’m guessing WUS one may come earlier as SPJ was doing an extra round of assessment on Thursday for those who were having clash with WUS 2nd round?

I believe it is true. We had a clash initially as well, but managed to change to Tuesday. I noticed on Tuesday there were 12 kids instead of the 10 originally intended. It was very difficult for SPJ to coordinate the Wed slot changes, when we discussed with the registrar they did mention a potential Thursday round, and I believe they did so in the end.

My son has been put on the waiting list for SPJ too. Not sure how the wait list works and what movement is like.
