Suggestions please.

There are only a couple of others we have that aren't Donaldson eg A visitor for Bear (great well written and illustrated story).

We're in dire need of something new and engaging to read!

Oliver Jeffers is lovely. Also The Giant of Jum is a firm favourite in this house (it’s a complete coincidence that I think the audiobook version read by Stephen Mangan is the sexiest thing ever).

The Jolly Postman
Hairy Maclary series
If I ran the Zoo Dr Seuss

Almostthere15 · 14/10/2018 20:04

What age are you looking for? We really like the battle of stinky bottom and the rest of the series.

The day the crayons quit is fab, as is the follow up.

My absolute favourite is I love you little monster. I can't get through it without tearing up though!

Helen Stephens books - Fleabag and How to Hide a Lion.
The kids enjoy the Large Family books about a family of elephants but I hate how flipping stereotyped the parents are!

Jen Campbell Franklin and Luna books.
