Wondered if anyone else out there fancies a school starters thread for this September?

I'm feeling slightly pathetic about DTs starting Reception in September; they've been in nursery for years but I'm still prone to a little weep at my babies growing up when I peek at their uniforms!

Oh no ElodieS I really hope she's ok Sad

Thanks Bigfam, fingers crossed. Slightly puzzled that she was fine all day, then they called so close to home time.

Hope you manage to avert meltdown too!

I was called because mine fell in the playground and had a massive egg on her head

Will keep my fingers crossed for her as well elodie
Ah no, that's a bit crap TinyTear Sad is she ok? Have you been advised to take her to gp or a&e or anything?

Dd1 fell and broke her foot at school a couple of years ago, they didn't think it was bad enough to let me know and I only found out she'd hurt herself when she couldn't walk home & then took her to a&e where they confirmed it was fractured.

We did avoid a meltdown thanks elodie she was surprisingly happy actually 😆

She is OK thanks. We took her to a&e and they said she seemed fine. Nurofen at bedtime, lots of cuddles and ice pack
