I am preparing my DS for 7+. Can I ask his classroom teacher to tutor him him after school?

I am preparing my DS for 7+. Can I ask his classroom teacher to tutor him him after school? she does not necessarily need to tutor for 7+ - just covering maths skills overall?

I do t want you to do anything. You aren't the one responsible for a frustrating flawed system .

mrz, I know you are a genuinely caring teacher. I remember reading in the past about how you cared for children of hard working parents who can't look after their children well because they are too busy etc.
I think the children who have you as a teacher are very fortunate.
