AND I've named it all!

I'm feeling slightly smug.

However, I am now going to restrict DS's food, bind him and possibly put bricks on his head for the rest of the summer.

My dd always grows in January. There is no school uniform in the shops in January. It is available in next online or M&S most of the year but their clothes don't fit my skinny tall DD.

If you are buying in supermarkets and you like the sizing, buy the next size up now as well. It won't go to waste!
And tights shrink a lot. Buy twice as many as you think you need and some in the next size as well.

I'm with the OP
I have got DS starting in reception fully kitted and labelled already. Only shoes and plimsoles to go!

Luckily next trousers fit him and you can buy them anytime. But I have age 2 shorts for Sept heatwave (skinny arse) age 3 shorts from M&S, age 3 and age 4 trousers from Next and shirts and jumpers age 3,4 and 5 from Sainsbury. He's currently tiny, always has been but I'm prepared!
