dd2 has written a story - can anyone tell me how she is doing?

"Once upon a time there was a grown up Fairy. She had two fairy children. They were going to the park. One of the fairy children saw a slide. That child went to play on it. Then the other fairy child went to play on it too. Then after all that it was time to go home. At home it was lunch time. They had three sandwiches and some fruit. After lunch they went to some shops. Then they went home. At home it was tea time."

She had help spelling 'slide' and 'sandwiches' but otherwise it is all her own work. Punctuation as above (done by her). She started out writing her 'p's backwards, but noticed herself, and self corrected, and went through her work finding them all to correct.

She is in Year 1. Where would this put her, levels-wise, out of curiosity?

I like lions best.lions are preditors wich eat other animals.A daddy lion has a big hary mane not like a horse mane more flufy.
Mummy lions are feers and have babies called cubs.
lions are called KING of the animals wich I think is true.
There was a drawing of a lion at the bottom.

I was just thinking I never see what my dd2 can write. (Yr 1 Aug born). Today she came home with her topic book about toys where she has written:

"I got my toy for chistmas. Her name is Merida. She has red cerle (curly) hare and her mummy and the bruthers tern into bears. The bruthers tern into three baby bears. When she was a baby she ran into the woods and she got lost luckerlee she fownd the way out of the woods. She fownd her family agayn. She wochis (watches) telly with me"

I particularly liked "luckerlee" and "wochis"! She never writes anything at home so I was quite impressed!

He also wrote on a separate day-Space peopl are somtimes men but somtimes not.Thay can be wimen or monkeys as well!!!!!!![exclamation marks are mine]
I am not sure about the last sentence myself-the juxtaposition is just wrong.

This is a piece DD wrote at school a few weeks ago.

Sooperhiros are cint (kind). There are reel live sooperhiros too. for igzarmpll grace Darling. There are pitend ones too. like batcat. And if they cant do it they never ever ever gif up. And there never rood. But some hiros are ded.

If she could just amalgamate the right bits of supaheros and sooperhiros, she'd nearly be able to spell it.
