I know each stage has sight words but would like to know what they are.

Hi caffeinated, this link to the oxford University press is the ebst I could come up with Smile. I see that there is a 'floppy's forum' that might be enlightening..

However, this one does list the sounds that are practised at each stage that might be of use:

mrz · 26/10/2010 21:06

Thanks folks but that wasn't really what I was thinking of. I know the stage 1 words are biff chip kipper floppy mum dad and a the can't recall any stage 2 and can only remember that in the stage 3 ones wilf and wilma are in the list of key words.

I think you just need the high frequency words for whichever year your dc is in like here:

www.firstschoolyears.com/literacy/word/other/hfw/resources/Key%20Stage%201%20HFW%20Assessment.pdf

Does that help ? I've never seen or heard of an ORT list other than in the back of the books themselves.

We have just thrown out a complete set of wordcards for the first 3-4 stages as we don't use them any more! You could have a look at
www.amazon.co.uk/Read-at-Home-Flashcards-Wordgames/dp/0198384513/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1288375057&sr=8-1

which is as close as I can get as they don't seem to do the packs we had anymore!
