I am a parent who loves crying about teachers

Is this the best forum for me. I have never taught but understand that having 2 children makes me the consumate expert. I am jealous that I see teachers earning 40,000 a year whilst I have to survive on 8000 a year which is so unfair. I like to b itch about teachers on the playground and trash their reputations amongst my bingo playing friends. I have read many threads on here and feel sure it is the place for me.

Hmm
Hulababy · 30/09/2010 22:19

lol! Hmm

If teaching is such an envious job for you - go and train and become one.

nameymcnamechange · 30/09/2010 22:19

Oh don't be such a numpty.

kellyegg · 30/09/2010 22:21

But I do not need to train, I am a parent. Enough said!

Well, good for you - enjoy your bitching.

I think it is time for my first ever Biscuit

Although not convinced this is a real thread anyway.

TheFallenMadonna · 30/09/2010 22:23

Are you trying to play devil's advocate or something? It's a bit of a blunt instrument you're using I think.

nameymcnamechange · 30/09/2010 22:26

She's just being ultra sarcastic, people. There is a perception that Mumsnetters can be hard on teachers. She is making herself look ever so slightly silly.

My child's teacher refused to put little Timmy on the Gifted and talented register even though he can now play A and C without looking. These fools would not know talent if it smacked em in the face

I think she's visiting us from the TES.

c0rns1lk · 30/09/2010 22:28

Anyway I'm off to play bingo now

animula · 30/09/2010 22:28

I rather fancy bitching about teachers on the playground. But it sounds rather ... dirty.

animula · 30/09/2010 22:30

Is it something to do with "dogging"?

Haliborange · 30/09/2010 22:30

"Parents-have-opinions-on-education shocker".

FYI, On MN you can write "bitch". No need to use a space.

cory · 30/09/2010 22:30

trolls should be funny

Katisha · 30/09/2010 22:31

Shouldn't that also be b (space) ingo?

julybutterfly · 30/09/2010 22:32

Oooo my first Biscuit

No idea what point you're trying to make but you're shit at trying to make it

Good spot, Haliborange. OP, love, we're all free and wild and sweary over here, you know. You can say fuck and everything.

You can even (gasp) say directly if something or someone pisses you off -- you don't have to do it in a clumsily sarcastic, roundabout manner.

If you feel people are being unfair to teachers, just come out and say so, eh?

Quattrocento · 30/09/2010 22:38

If you only earn around 8k a year, which is less than the minimum wage, I suggest you work out how to upskill yourself

If you genuinely like to bitch about teachers then I suggest you find yourself a more constructive hobby

KnittingisbetterthanTherapy · 30/09/2010 22:40

Please can someone tell me where I can earn £40k a year as a teacher?! Confused

What is it about MN at the moment - is it Pick On Teacher Week?!

RoadArt · 30/09/2010 22:41

Love it OP! cant believe you are all taking her so seriously LOL

kellyegg · 30/09/2010 22:42

It must be lovely having only coffee mornings and Bingo to worry yourselves with

c0rns1lk · 30/09/2010 22:42

um, we aren't. Most of us have realised that she's a teacher crying moaning about parents.
