I have never regretted anything more in my life. Took mifepristone a couple of days ago. My heart is broken. I don't want to proceed with second tablets.

Has anyone done this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I am beside myself. Tried ringing EPU but they are closed on weekend. Spoke to out of hours GP who said he knew nothing about the tablets and that I need to speak to gynae but there's no one there. I feel such a mess.

Request an urgent appointment with your GP today to see if it can be reversed. You need a large amount of progesterone.

My gosh I how I wished found this thread before when I had taken my first tablet.

It made it so easy to follow through with the second tablet just thinking "well it's done now there is no going back" but there was a going back.....

I guess I will just have to live with that knowledge now. Yet another regret to carry

Laura346 · 22/07/2022 13:01

Sorry op not to come across doom and gloom Im glad it worked out for you. Clinics need to tell you this and make women aware when they undergo abortion that this is a possibility.

I just remember the woman making me take the tablet Infront of her which I found weird. Almost like you've dug your grave so you have no out and are watched to make sure it's done. I took that tablet mindlessly. I was so numb to everything that was happening to me after so much heart ache and hurt. I then went home and thought there was no out since it was done.

I find this weirdly heartbreaking. My nephew would have been 21 this year.

Famalamabunfight · 22/07/2022 13:19

Does the tablet not always work then? What's the point in taking 2 tablets if the first doesn't do anything?
