currently in hospiital as my waters broke at just under 15 weeks last night. it is a twin pregnancy and so far one twin seems ok, but the other twin has no anmiotic fluid and little movement but does have a heartbeat.

if anyone has any experience of this, good or bad, please post. i don't think the pprgnosis is good sadly.

thanks..

Great news midori!

mumtotwoboys · 01/04/2010 11:00

Hey, just stopped by to see how this week's appointment went!
That is so brilliant :-)
You are lucky to have big babies!
So one is a little fatty, hehee.
My baby's head was measuring bigger than the rest of him on those growth scans, he's probably gonna have a great big head like my 3 yr old, probably mean more stitches
So you've made it to 19 weeks, that's brilliant.
I found this story really inspiring, you might like..

This is just one of the many articles I guess, she explains what it was like going through those weeks prior to baby being born and praying for her LO to stay inside longer.. aw

ClaudiaSchiffer · 05/04/2010 22:08

Very best of luck, I have everything crossed for you. What an enormously stressful time you're having.

You mention earlier that you have other children, I hope you're managing to look after everybody - or even better, everyone's looking after you.

BosomsByTheSea · 05/04/2010 22:20

My twins and I have everything crossed for you and your two little ones. It is amazing what they can do. Mine were in NICU for a while and there were some very early babies in there doing really well.
Thinking of you xx

Biscuitbreaker · 06/04/2010 10:18

Very best of luck, I have got everything crossed for you and your babies. Whatever happens, I think you have been amazing, and so strong through all this - I am in awe!

Anyone heard from Midori?? I hope things are ok. I've been following this thread and as a fellow twin mum I'm really rooting for Midori and her little fighters

watersprite · 08/04/2010 16:32

Hello

Will be thinking of you and your babies, glad to hear you are at 19 weeks x x

midori1999 · 08/04/2010 16:38

Just thought I'd quickly update as people had posted. No consultant appointment this week due to Easter, so wasn't going to bore anyone further whilst having no real news. Thankyou for caring!

All seems OK so far, although have the worst indigestion/trapped wind ever. Didn't get it in my previous pregnancies, but I gather it is more common with twins, and I feel huge already!

Lots of moving now and DH felt his first kick on Sunday. Twin 2 did about 8 huge kicks all in a row, so I managed to grab hubby in time.

I am seeing the consultant on Tuesday and have my anomoly scan Weds. Will update then.

I am 20+4 today!!! Less than 4 weeks to go! (although obviously want to hold on longer)

I'm glad things are still ok, was worried something had happened. Yep - heartburn/indigestion was a nightmare for me too. Swigging gaviscon helped sometimes. Mine were sat just under my ribs and it was excruciating at times. You have my sympathies but on the plus side, it means they are getting bigger which can only be good news at the moment x

StealthPolarBear · 08/04/2010 16:47

have been wondering how you were doing - so pleased to hear everything is well at the moment. Hoping that 4 weeks (and longer!) flies past.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 09/04/2010 02:09

Well done Midori, it must feel like time is draaaaaaagging by but so far so good.

I do hope the appts on Tues and Wed go well. Will keep everything crossed for you and your little ones.

missedith01 · 11/04/2010 06:36

Oh the partners and the kicks! I swear mine had magic hands that made the baby all calm and floaty - he'd be doing backflips around my colon and as soon as my partner arrived and laid on hands ... nothing at all.

Best of luck for Tuesday!

PlumBumMum · 12/04/2010 10:51

I have been searching everywhere for this thread
