hope she is on time. Have you tried drinking some very cold orange juice? This has the double effect of a bit of a cooling surprise and a natural sugar rush for baby.
I am so hoping that everything will be fine for you, there are lots of reassuring stories and logical reasons for a bit of quiet time here. XXX

I am glad on this occasion to able to say "told you so!!!"

Its bloody scary though isnt it? It happened to me when I was 34 weeks. I was sh*tting myself, but all was ok. I bet the baby will kick like buggery all afternoon now!

RTKangaMummy · 13/07/2005 13:32

Ok sorry too slow at tyoping

early to bed tonight though

I'm really pleased everything is fine. There is just too much to worry about when pregnant.

When I was expecting DD, they was no movement for over 24 hours and the Dr couldn't get her to move, heartbeat was fine tough. I was sent straight to the hospital and it turned out she was breech. The position of the baby will make a difference to the movements you feel.

Go and put you feet up now. xxx

Lonelymum · 13/07/2005 13:32

Really relieved for you. If it is any consolation, I can remember being scanned quite late on in pg and seeing the baby kick me, but being quite unable to feel it at all! That made me realsie, we miss plenty of kicks everyday.

HappyHuggy · 13/07/2005 13:32

Glad to hear that everything's fine. Make sure that you get the chance to put your feet up and have a rest later on - you sound as if you really need one.
