What do you call your baby bump?

When I was really suffering from morning sickness I kept refering to the bab as 'the gremlin', which I am now feeling rather guilty about! I am now waiting for another more affectionate name to come to mind. jsut wondered what everyone else refers to their baby as, if anything at all.

the bean or beanie for a while - because I had to have a scan at 9 weeks due to hyperemesis and she looked like a little baked bean..now I call them 'rat-bags'..dont feel guilty

I just called mine The Baby but Gremlin would have been quite accurate too.
Can't stand twee nick names, they make me cringe.

We called DC1 'Baby' and we are referring to this one as 'Baby2'. I am also not one for twee names - I have some relatives who called their bumps 'Peanut' and 'Cashew' - vom.

DS1 - Bean - we still call him that as a nickname and he's nearly 3! (obviously he has a normal name also)

DC2 - Pea-Pod - mainly for DS1 to call the baby a name. But I think he'll be calling the baby Pea-Pod when she/he is 20 years old!

DD1 was referred to as Brambles for some unknown reason. This bump started as Goliath as I was HUGE very quickly, although since finding out she'll be DD2 it has changed to Golightly!

Should change it soon as she's due in 6 weeks and I don't really want golightly to stick.

Mars

Formally Mars Bar because dh joked just before the 12 weeks scan that maybe we weren't going to see a baby in there after all, rather a medium sized Mars bar. Amazingly that made me laugh rather than whack him.
