how soon did you know you were pregnant?

From conception, I mean.
Had unprotected sex last week at the right time of month. Just wonderig when symptoms might appear if I am pregnant. DS1 was a (happy) accident so have never tried to get pregnant before.

from conception. 1 week. I started to throw up almost immediately, and did not stop for 9 months!

Oh god, poor you. I wasn't sick last time (thank god) so I'm hoping I won't be again.

Yes i was ttc. but only in that in the january i had the implant removed, and i conceived in feb. I was not symptom spotting as it was my first cycle so not really sure whether it was my ovulation time or not! And absolutely did not expect to conceive straight away!

I thought at first i had a bug, until DH offered me a glass of wine with a nice meal he made, and the smell of it promptly had me running for the bathroom. DH said 'ok, so i am guessing you are indeed pregnant' , did not test until about 4 days later and got a faint positive. The little love of my life is sat on my lap right now aged 6weeks old!

However, with DD1 i was like you, she was a happy accident so did not know until 6wks.

The next day with dc2!! I even posted on here asking if it was normal to know.

I had a funny taste in my mouth, went off diet coke and put the milk in the microwave!

I got a bfp 4 weeks later Currently 37 weeks pg!

When I was pg with dd I had no idea until AF was late.

About a week after conception with dc2 when I got constipation (which I've only ever had in pregnancy). Did a test a week early and got a faint shadow of a line which then disappeared (I watched it like a hawk!!). Did another test two days later which was definitely positive. I swear I also started showing about 5 minutes after conception

Within the week with all 3 of min...... doing stupid things, sore, milky boobs, excessive tiredness and that god awful over salivating problem... wanted to eat some silica gel!

Within 3 days....and it wasn't planned. I just felt very different and even to this day don't know why I took a test so early. We were using contraception too!

I knew within two days with dd2. I went off coffee and alcohol completely and went to bed that night at 6pm and slept for 15 hours (luckily on holiday, so entirely possible). I had obviously realised that dd2 would not be fond of sleeping when she arrived and was trying to get in some extra hours in advance.

It was really frustrating getting two negative early tests before the BFP, though.

In retrospect I realise now that I also had similar very early symptoms with dd1, but put them down to a hangover cold.

Oh god Im really symptom spotting now! I'm over salivating which I'd never connected to prenancy before. But I've not gone off wine, am not tired (any more than usual) and no sore boobs.
I'm so pathetic, I can't even wait a couple of weeks to test! Have a feeling it's a no though

(AF stands for aunt flo and means period)

I knew straight after having sex with both DS and DD. No idea how but I did.

Hersuit, I was going to post the exact same post. Had a bit of an 'accident' NYE and I am desperate to know whether I am or not. I have sore boobs but sometimes get them before AF anyway. Have done a test and got a bfn but it was middle of the afternoon two days ago so prob way too early. When would you be able to test?

DH claims he knew with DS straight after having sex . Reckons it's a no this time too!
Looks like we'll have to do the whole messy business all over again- thought i was off the hook for a while

I dreamt I was! .
Pregnancy certainly wasn't planned, nor did it seem likely.
But the dream was so strong, I marched straight to the pharmacy on waking, embarrassed to be governed by such apparent irrationality. I can still hear the yelp when that pale pink line appeared....

Not sure, luckywinner. I think I have, in fact, cocked up because DH and I have very different memories about when my period was last month.
I had been noting it down since my periods came back in July just so's I'd know. Forgot last month and I'm now really confused.
I'll see if it turns up in the next week or so, if not do a test.
Until then, I'll keep symptom spotting! How early can you do a test anyway?

Not sure, I think you can get them for a few days before af. I have no patience when it comes to these matters. If I was rich I'd buy a whole batch of tests and pee on them every morning till af was due (which is not for another week)

I'm so impatient too. They're bloody expensive too, as I remember.
Just been looking at fertile dates and think we're a bit outside them. We're not very organised.

First sign with my 1st (and only - but not for long, hopefully), was an over-whelming tiredness at about 3/4 weeks. I'd literally return from work every day and flop down on the bed and sleep through.

I'm hoping for a BFP next week too. Wednesday would prob be the earliest I could test. DH and I had sex 4 days in a row during my fertile time last week, so really hoping it is positive!

With DS 1 it was when I was offered a smirnoff ice and I just couldn't drink it. About six weeks.
With DD about four days. Dh took us on a lovely long drive to watch the sunset and I missed it due to extreme tiredness.
DS2 I realised just after the deed.
I am getting better and better at diagnosing pregnancy earlier and earlier.

3 days before I was due , felt really sick in morning, did a test 3 days after was due and voila 22 weeks pg with no 4

When I was on my way to get the pregnancy test, a guy bumped into me and I though OUCH! my boobs hurt!

After that, the test was just confirmation.
