Ok so we have all heard of the 'norms', sickness, cravings, fatigue etc etc etc

Have you had any unusual pg symptoms

I can start -

When i was about 8 weeks I had huge purple blotches over my face and neck.... how some people did not pick up I was pg I have no idea.....

Anyone else?

before i'd even taken a test, i broke a tooth. been pg a total of 4 times (2 were m/c's though), so thats 4 broken teeth!

Jacksmama · 08/12/2009 02:38

Everything lost its taste. Didn't have nausea even once - but every food, even spicy yummy stuff like Thai curry, was completely bland and tasteless to me.

allthatjazz · 08/12/2009 07:53

bumpybecky · 08/12/2009 09:31

inability to buy bin bags, had a complete mental block about it! kept forgetting for weeks and weeks. DH gave in and bought several huge rolls in the end

strange complusion to buy (cheddar) cheese, kept forgetting that we'd got loads in the fridge and bought more every time I went food shopping!

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 08/12/2009 09:46

Very crusty nose that was impossible to blow. Sorry if TMI. I've still got it actually.

jeee · 08/12/2009 12:44

My grey hairs disappear... Although it''s cheaper to colour my hair than to get pregnant again

MeltedTreeChocolates · 08/12/2009 12:57

Hahaha.... indeed it is jee....

Dont say that fly... I have a crusty nose now and am not looking to be pregnant......

Wind

AKMD · 08/12/2009 13:26

I too have an amazingly hairy tummy. My husband think it's hilarious but I'm a bit

I had a very congested nose for weeks but that wore off after about 18 weeks.

I mix up my words a lot - I'll start saying one word and then try to say another word and end up with a mish-mash of the two. Very embarrassing when giving presentations at work but at least it livens everyone up a bit!

MeltedTreeChocolates · 08/12/2009 13:34

Hehe Mama.....

oedema of the vulva

i.e. a swollen fanjo

yes, i was shocked too

DuchestnutsOfAvon · 08/12/2009 14:00

Complete inability to clean my teeth - even a whiff of toothpaste made me vom. I had to brush vey quickly in short bursts and then sit and do panting until the urge to spew had passed.

Total deafness in one ear for the last 8 weeks of the pregnancy.

Nose bleeds.

MeltedTreeChocolates · 08/12/2009 14:09

Funny Duch because I had cravings (was convinced they were made up) for toothpaste towards the end of my pg and had to retrain myself from swallowing it all. So minty and yummy.....

A burning itching rash like sunburn + eczema + psorisis + chicken pox all over me but my face from 34w. Aaaaaaaargh. (Went almost straight after birth though - I was allergic to him )

Thingiebob · 08/12/2009 14:28

Nose congestion minus any mucus. I have sounded like I have a cold since about four weeks and I am now 35 wks.

Nails completely soft and peeling off.

Itchy red skin patches on breasts.

AgentZigzagDoingAYuleLog · 08/12/2009 14:33

I always had the radio/loud music/mp3 on, but I can't stand any of them now and prefer the silence, which for me is a bit freaky. I think it's cos I've got pregnancy brain overload or related made up syndrome

LaTristesse · 08/12/2009 14:35

Burning hot feet - handy in the winter no doubt...
