Hi everyone,

I'm currently 9 and a bit weeks pregnant and my due date is 1st July 2010. Am very excited and thrilled to be expecting my first baby! There are so many questions and thoughts though and I want to share these with other women in the same situation. Please join this thread if you're due about the same time or if you just want to chat...x

Hi ladies, how have you all survived xmas? I'm shattered could stay in bed all day but think ds and step ds have other ideas lol. Xmas was good but dp was pissed yesterday which was no fun haha anyone else fed up with the drunken ones? Or is it more jealousy xXx

blackcurrants · 27/12/2009 13:22

Hi everyone! I have my DH's sister, who's 6 months pregnant, her husband, and their 2 year old - all staying in our 2 bedroom flat! DH and I are sleeping on airbeds in our little boxroom, and it's, erm, interesting. The little one is waking everyone up at 3-4am (jetlag- that's around 7am in the UK) full of beans and ready to party.
I'm soooo tired!
DH has taken them sightseeing in NYC today, I'm staying in bed! (well, I'm going to re-inflate the airbed). It was a bit daunting on xmas day, watching this toddler and her VERY tired mum, and thinking "How does anyone do it? What was I thinking? I've made a mistake!"
But I've also seen the adorable side of DN, and had some great games and cuddles, and .. I sorta see why people do it.
ARGH! So tired though!

Hope everyone is well and all the best for 2010, talk to you in the new year xxx

Buckler · 01/01/2010 10:55

Happy new year to everyone hope everyone is okay.

blackcurrants · 01/01/2010 16:00

Happy New Year all! How's everyone's non-hangovers? DH woke up and grinned at me today, saying "okay, I feel hungover but I still feel 100% better than I have all week!"

My guests finally left yesterday evening, then I went around to a friend's house where everyone spoiled me and was all excited about 2010 being Year Of The Baby - so I felt much better about life. I went to bed about 10pm and feel much more human today. Still pretty exhausted though, and it's made the morning sickness re-appear... argh, and flat is a bombsite.
DH is being amazing - I got some breakfast in bed today, and I even managed to eat some of it! He's walking the dog now and I think I might go back to sleep... I need to catch up on a week's worth of air-bed 'sleep' - so more of the real thing is required!

Meeting a midwife and arranging a scan this week (it's officially 12 weeks today) - so it's all starting!
Yay!

stac14 · 01/01/2010 23:23

Hey blackcurrants sounds like you had a great time. We went to dp's mums then my aunts so I am knackered too, its 12 weeks tomorrow for me so glad we got here lol. I have my scan on Wednesday can't wait to see the baby again. Hoping to have a lazy day in bed tomorrow but we will see how that goes lol Hope the sickness calms down again, i've been quite crampy but sure its just the stretching pains but still freaks me out lol

Hows everyone else? All good I hope and recovering from the holidays, back to normal soon xxx

stac14 · 02/01/2010 22:13

pupisjealous · 04/01/2010 14:05

Hello everyone!

I'm expecting my first and am due the first week in July (I think - they keep changing the estimate!). I think its only just sunk in as we had the 12 weeks scan today and I've just told all my close family.

I know this might be old hat but I found it amazing to see the little arms and fingers. Is it wrong/annoying to show people the scan photos?

blueberry69 · 04/01/2010 17:56

Hello everyone. I am 14 weeks today (due 5th July) and can't work out whether my jeans are a little tight due to the beginnings of a bump or because I've tucked away too many mince pies over the last fortnight!

As its my first pregnancy I'm not sure what to expect and when I will start to show and wonder if anyone else has developed a bump yet...?

stac14 · 05/01/2010 12:42

welcome pupis & blueberry i am 12+3 with my 2nd after an eleven year gap and going for my scan tomorrow. You can show from quite early on especially if your slim. I dont think i am showing yet but dp says my tummy is getting rounder lol

Hey to the other ladies not heard from you in an while is all ok? Xx

del1 · 08/01/2010 14:59

Hi everyone, finaly had my scan yestrday. All is well, I am 16 wks.I now have a small pot belly, so look at the in-between stage, the eaten too many pies look!! lol.
Think I have got a bump quicker this time, as it was only a year sine I last had one !?
How have you all managed with the weather?
I was moaning all night when I got stuck in traffic for 3 hrs, dying for a wee, with my one year old screaming in the back.
But felt a bit silly when I saw the news- that people were stuck for 15 hrs!! OMG - I aould loose the plot I think!! x

Sam001 · 02/02/2010 12:30

Hi everyone, can I join in? I am 15 weeks pregnant now, expecting on the 25th of july. This is my first pregnancy so I am not sure what to expect and what not to! Had my first scan which was fine, but slightly worried about all the blood tests they do, especially the PPAM-A one - does anyone know anything about it?

My sickness and exhaustion days seem to be over, although I am suffering from headaches.

Looking forward to sharing advice and preg news x

Hi everyone... I am not really understanding how mumsnet actually works as I have just joined another thread that I found for July 2010 expectees.... should I not be joining this one as well?? Oh well, I am 15 weeks as well and due on 27th July my first baby too and am currently panicking as I have found out that the eczema cream I have been using for the last 15 weeks according to the internet is a no no (haven't checked with Dr or MW yet).... have just started a thread (not sure if I've done that in the right place either) to see if anyone else knows anymore about this conundrum! Anyway congratulations to you all on your bumps.... hope that no one else is worrying about everything as much as me, I haven't really had time to enjoy it all yet as am too busy panicking about everything!

MinesaPimms · 10/02/2010 15:06

Hi everyone,

Can I join in? I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my first baby, due date 2nd July. Had previous miscarriage, so have been naturally very cautious about this pregnancy, although starting to relax more now.

Been reading the previous posts, good to know I am not alone in experiencing severe sickness (until week 14), peeing all night, sore boobs and lowered libido (thrush doesn't help)!

Energy levels a bit better now but still need early nights and plenty of rest.

My bump appeared as soon as I'd peed on a stick, my boobs are enormous and a huge double chin arrived by Christmas!

Doesn't always make you feel attractive but DH still tells me I'm beautiful and I'm so glad everything is going well this time.

Hope all you ladies are keeping well.

beanlet · 27/02/2010 00:26

Hi there -- I'm new to mumsnet and due on 3rd July. May I join you all? quite a relief to know there are others out there going through the same thing at the same time!

mumwithbumandtum · 21/04/2010 14:11

How are all the July 2010 mums getting on? I'm 27+6 today with DC2, so am just about able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. DS1 is just 13 months old though so it's going to be fairly hectic. Any one else getting stitches just walking 100m along the pavement, calf cramps at night, heartburn and itchy tummy? LOL A x

2babesmum · 21/04/2010 18:59

Hiya, I'm 25+5 and getting all of the above . Surprised myself today because I went shopping for the first time in a while and was absolutely shattered by the end!

Just in the last 6 weeks of my degree so can't wait to chill, sit back, sort the house and set up the nursery etc!

neshi · 21/04/2010 22:40

Ladies, I'm lost with all the July 2010 threads around, seems to me there are like 3 or 4!!

Anyway, happy to join in
I'm now 27+3 and starting to get anxious... It's getting closer now!!!!

mumwithbumandtum, I definitely find that going up my street now is a daily challenge! Think twice about popping to the store for a pint of milk! And the good news is: It's only gonna get worse

Meanwhile, started on a crazy nesting challenge...I seem to feel the need to clean and organise the house from top to bottom...but been working on the nursery and it just feels great to prepare the little one's corner! Loving it!
