feeling really low...convinced baby is dead :-(

hi all
i need to get this out cos my head is done in.
I am supposed to be 12wks tommorow but dont have another scan till 9th august. I had a scan at 8wks to check viability and they saw a heartbeat.
I just feel really bad at the min. I have had 3mcs in past and last was a missed mc where baby died at around 9wks. I dont know why i think baby is gone but i just feel it is. I am sitting here crying and getting stressed as i know there is nothing i can do. I am due to see mw again on tues but prob wont be able to hear hb with doppler as with ds i was 16wks before i could hear it.
I was feeling really sick etc until about 4 days ago. Everything has just stopped which i know can happen around now anyway but it isnt helping...i just dont know what to do my head is messed up. sorry for moaning but i just feel so lost

Nemo, just take yourself off to the early preg unit, they will scan you.

Lunavix - that sounds like a really good idea. Why dont more units do that. It would probably help alleviate the anxieties mums to be can feel esp if the have hx of mc.

They can’t cancel your 12 week scan? The 12 week scan isn’t just about the scan for viability it’s when they do the screening too? I had a scan last week due to bleeding and still have my 12 scan booked for tomorrow. Last week was just to investigate the bleeding they didn’t do any of the screening / checks they’d do at the 12 week scan. I would 100000% be ringing your hospital and midwife and questioning why your right to a screening test has been taken away from you. Absolutely disgraceful! So sorry you’re going through this x

This thread is from 2005! If everything was fine then the baby in question is probably preparing to go to University so it might be a bit late to change hospitals!
