When you started to buy baby stuff etc?

1st baby about 14 weeks. Just after the 12 week scan confirmed everything was okay. 2nd baby about 1 month before !!!

about 7 months. I bought the absolute minimu too (pram, few vests, cot blanket) because i was scared I would jinx the pregnancy.

didn't buy a thing. EVERYTHING was given to us by parents, other family members, friends.

I don't think i bought anything for ds, bless him. I did sort out dd's baby clothes at about 38 weeks though.

I still have a few things like the swinging crib, vests,baby grows, cot mattress which still looks brand new. Need to get a cot though.I have bottle steraliser although i am going to start by trying breast feeding.

33 weeks - first day of maternity leave.

About 6-7 months

12 weeks. Went serious baby clothes shopping when we found out the sex of the baby at 20 weeks.

DP wouldn't let me buy anything until the 23 weeks scan confirmed the sex - then I went mad buying pink pink pink.

This time going to buy the minimum once we know the sex as you get so many presents he/she will never wear it all.

sweetkitty in the back of my mind i am sort of hoping to be able to buy pink pink pink only because i have not had the chance as yet! But saying that i would love a ickle bro for my ds.

I had a rule, don't buy anything more than 3 months before I might need it, otherwise I would have filled my house with too much!

haven't bought anything yet for this baby, & i'm 31 weeks. have got lots of stuff left over from ds, & we're going to inherit lots of girlie stuff. am a bit wary of buying things though, want the baby out first....

Bought a new car specially for the baby at 6 weeks pregnant! Once I had bought that it seemed silly to worry about buying the cot etc!

I was really cautious and was going to wait right til the last minute. Unfortunately MIL decided this was a sign that we were too poor to get anything so went mad and bought vertially everything when I was about 5 months. I was really looking forward to choosing my own cot mobile etc too

20 weeks, after scan and settling in my mind that i was going to have a baby this time.

I bought far too much both times and was wandering around the shops looking and buying little bits as soon as I found out. I now have so much stuff in this house and need to think about getting rid of it but can't bear to.

Little things like srcratch mitts I bought early on with my first I couldn't resist, although left things like bedding, cot and pushchair till I was around 6-7 months. Purely because new designs get coming out and I didnt want to get something and then decide id rather have something else.

Started serious shopping at 6 months but still was finishing the nursery a week before I was due - and then dd was 9 days late!

Bought one hat after seeing midwife for first time to celebrate.

Didn't buy anything else until after 20 week scan in case it was twins.

Bought gender neutral clothing.

First baby, about 20wks after scan.
This time I'm due in 5wks and I bought a couple of baby grows from Asda yesterday!
Really should be thinking about packing and stuff, but so busy all the time with DD(2yrs).

bought first outfits the day i got a positive pregnancy test!

I made the mistake of drifting into Baby shortly after the sexing scan - came out with lots of cuddly cute stuff.

Then spent 4 months folding and unfolding them up and marvelling at the tiny sizes. Am now sick to death of folding baby clothes, how do you do a sleepsuit exactly??
