I'm between 3 and 5 days late on a 21 to 25 day cycle.

I've had 2 separate instances of bloody strings within the last 7 days.

I last had sex 12 days ago - withdrawal method - on my 40th fucking birthday.

And yes, I know the reliability of withdrawal, but having got to 40 with only one DS and a coule of maybes I figured I just wasn't prone...

ah, I see.

Oh well, I had my yummy little dd3 for my 40th birthday too, (well, actually found out a week before but hey ho) lovely pressie.

I hope its not really the end of the world for you, and that it's maybe just a shock. We are ttc #6 now, and i'm hoping it's twins. (sorry if it is genuinely bad news though)

Um. I've been looking for a job for 6 months (redundancy - specialised area - but scares people off when I apply for lower skilled stuff). Have told DH that if I have to spend the summer hol with DS (6 weeks FFS) I will need to walk under a bus. Don't have actual facts yet, but pretty sure we can't afford for me to be a SAHM much longer.
