Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

I'm between 3 and 5 days late on a 21 to 25 day cycle.

I've had 2 separate instances of bloody strings within the last 7 days.

I last had sex 12 days ago - withdrawal method - on my 40th fucking birthday.

I'm fucking having twins aren't I.

My tits have been sore for about 12 days now.

I am a twin.

I can't afford a preg test till it's a bit more over time, but I'm fucking having twins aren't I.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

eachpeach, I take it you are expecting one baby? or have just had one?

I do not do pregnancy at all, am sick for about 5 mths, get severe spd, then finish off with OC, and polyhydramnios, Do you think they'll let me have a homebirth next time, ? Oh yes, and by then i'll be a grandmultip, and old too.

FairLadyRantALot · 01/05/2009 23:05

well,,,, fwiw...recently I had elayed period ( after over regular one) and severe boob pain....not pg though.,,,,rwas all in my mind

EachPeachPearMum · 01/05/2009 23:11

Aw Paula- your smallest ones are still pretty small....

DS just started enjoying playing 'Peepo', and he put a rattle in his mouth today ...Argh- its all going too quickly

Liahgen- Just had one!
I cannot really have another tbh. Pg was a nightmare this time... and we don't want to be outnumbered

OP- sorry- being pg is a very different kettle of fish to raising another child, especially if there are 2 of them quite a scary prospect- so here's some

ConcernedAnd · 01/05/2009 23:12

Lastpregnancy - bleeding at 8 weeks, 1 in 4 for Edwards on triple test, cramping at 23 weeks, SPD and trapped nerve in shoulder 3rd trimester... Posterior placement and EMCS at 37 weeks...

Why would anyone want to be pregnant?

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 01/05/2009 23:12

and it really was your 40th fucking birthday....

ConcernedAnd · 01/05/2009 23:13

Have stress-induced coprolalia btw. Do not diss me 'cos I have a medical condition.

liahgen · 01/05/2009 23:15

concerned each pg is different, (she tells herslf, every bloody time, ) maybe this time would be better for you. I know a fab Doula who could support you well

pg is means to an end for me, would just like to enjoy it once, not much to ask for is it?

Come back and let us know how you get on. I hope the outcome is whatever you'd like it to be. x

FairLadyRantALot · 01/05/2009 23:18

hmmm.yu quote all those negatives...but does your child HAVE Edwards syndrom etc?
Totally different story...you see many of the regular tests show a risk where there is none and stress parents to be and even make them go for termination....
but it seems to be a more inconvinient thing, and well, than you just make truely sure you can't fall pg or go with it...tbh, I really don't get the fel pg on contraceptive thing, well, not after one child of that way, cos you help yourself there and seek out whatever is necessary and possble...

earlynite · 01/05/2009 23:19

Look on the bright side. It could be the menopause.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 01/05/2009 23:20

(liaghen my number 6 pg was really easy - after nausea)

ConcernedAnd · 01/05/2009 23:20

FairLadyRantALot · 02/05/2009 09:34

sorry, I was so unhelpful there...should not post when having a drink....anyway, I hope that everyhting will work out alright....and apologies for being such an ogre last night....

EachPeachPearMum · 03/05/2009 21:21

Did you test yet? Hope you're okay.

StealthPolarPig · 03/05/2009 21:26

surely the chance of it actually being twins (even though the risk is increased) is still tiny?

Dottoressa · 03/05/2009 21:30

Try a 12-week summer holiday! That's what my DCs have got .

Personally, I quite like the long holidays. I hated being pregnant, though.

ConcernedAnd · 04/05/2009 11:49

Fairlady - don't worry. Should've known better than to post a ranty OP on a Friday night

Eachpeach et al - thanks for remembering me, and no, haven't tested yet - will have to pick one up tomorrow. Am now thinking that I should maybe start going commando in white trousers and sitting on silk cushions to see if that resolves the matter

And unfortunately twins don't skip a generation, and our family is prone...

OP posts:
madmissy · 04/05/2009 19:40

any news?

i'm waiting to see if we have one or two..

you won't nes have twins if you were its down to whether you ovulate two eggs like your mum had done..

my dads a non identical twin and my sisters are also non identical.

lol at the white trews and silk cushions!

madmissy · 04/05/2009 19:41

derrr just read you're getting test tomorrow

ConcernedAnd · 05/05/2009 09:39

Well, test says not pregnant - hooray. But still no sign of Aunt Flo. Hey ho.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 05/05/2009 10:44

good news!
You're probably a little stressed (!) delaying af

lal123 · 05/05/2009 19:49

Re the twins thing - pretty sure that your chances of having twins is still pretty low and that all the stuff about it "missing a generation" is just old wives tale? Must go google!
