Biglips · 24/04/2009 22:21

i used the ebay cheapies ones and a grey line came up on 8dpo but i wasnt sure so i took a CB digital on the same day and i nearly fell over that it came up "PREGNANT".

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 22:23

hoops997 · 24/04/2009 22:26

I think you really ought to get yourself to the docs ASAP, you are going to drive yourself mad with worry smurfgirl

Flightattendant25 · 24/04/2009 22:28

Oh no smurf do you want to talk? (Heinz I am fine now thanks doll )

Sidge · 24/04/2009 22:36

Looks positive to me, and I've done a zillion of those tests (lots for me, lots more for other people!)

If that is a problem you need to see your GP asap and get it confirmed and discuss your options.

Hope it works out for you.

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 22:37

My dh would want me to terminate

We have no money, I have failed my nursing course and am unemployed and living off my parents - technically i am on the course but they can't decide if i should be allowed to complete

DH is slowly paying back cc debt so half of his salary goeson that

on the plus side we have a nice 3 bed house we own out right!

Sidge · 24/04/2009 22:40

What would you want to do smurfgirl?

If you have a mortgage free property then surely the finances could be juggled? Even if you can't qualify as a nurse you could do care work?

Flightattendant25 · 24/04/2009 22:41

Hmm well you know it was a genuine accident and he can't make you...sounds like you have space for a nursery,

what would you want to do pet?

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 22:41

i am getting ahead of myself am probs not even pregnant

i don't know if i could terminate

i am married ffs

if you are (and remember its only if at the moment) there is finacial help available, you would probably qualify for tax credits, yu get child benefit stuff like that. if you are not working at the moment you wouldnt be loosing your salary, and once you have the big stuff like a cot and a pram babies dont really cost that much. i hope i dont sound patronising but i know how you feel, when i got pg with my dd we didnt have a pot to piss in, but its amazing how you cope.
if money were not a problem would you and your dh be happy about a potential pregnancy?

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 22:45

well we want babies but we wanted to spend time together before them - we are 24 and 25 and wanted to sleep in more haha (how shallow)

OP posts:
nancy75 · 24/04/2009 22:46

not shallow at all, i bloody miss my lie ins!

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 22:56

OP posts:
hoops997 · 24/04/2009 22:57

nancy75 · 24/04/2009 23:11

you haven't wasted my time, dp's at work so my choice is watch csi or look at your pregnancy tests
seriously, i really hope this works out for you, what might seem like a complete f*ing disaster tonight could work out to be the best thing ever. x

smurfgirl · 24/04/2009 23:16

I duno csi is pretty amazing compared to some pee on paper

OP posts:
nancy75 · 24/04/2009 23:19

not the one thats on now , the ginger bloke is the biggest overactor on earth and can only talk in a menacing whisper, if i could be bothered i would find the remote and turn it over, but as i'm a lazy arse it looks like i'm stuck with your pee on a stick

Ewe · 24/04/2009 23:20

My pregnancy tests with DD looked like that, never got a very definite strong line.

My DD was a lovely little surprise and I was 21, single and living in a houseshare in London with some randomers I found on gumtree. Now she is 13 months and life is GOOD, sometimes things just work out when you least expect it

smurfgirl · 25/04/2009 10:32

I tested again and no line so I assume I am not pregnant, thanks for all the replies so sorry to waste your time, I feel abit silly now.

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 25/04/2009 11:05

Hmmm when was thhat?

Theres definatly a line on those others, a nice pink line after 2-3 mins.

Was it a different test? When was it taken.

TBH, I think you need to go to the doctors.

If you are pregnant and its not a good thing its better to know as early as possible because things just get harder as time goes on if you understand what I mean.

Please just visit the GP to find out properly.

You don't want to leave it a month and then find out you have been all along.

Flightattendant25 · 25/04/2009 11:09

Yes what kind of test did you use?
