So sorry to hear about your aunt's death, Tee. I hope you get to see your cousins, and your mum who must be so upset to lose a sister, when there's the happy news of your new baby to celebrate.
MS is such a strange thing; my dad has had it for 40 yrs but could get about fine with a walking stick and had no other symptoms - until 8 yrs ago when he had a stroke that was theoretically mild but, because of the MS, completely knocked him sideways. He's in a wheelchair now, dodgy motor skills, occasional incontinence and all sorts of problems. It's a disease that leaves sufferers so vulnerable to any other health problems.
hedgepig we have had to limit 'screen time' for DS (who loves his DS way too much) whereas his big sister naturally limits the time she spends in front of the TV or computer. Boys are definitely more into staring at a screen and pressing buttons.
mrsb I don't think the 'ideal' age gap exists. In some ways I can't imagine dealing with JW's 3 under 6 but I have friends who've done it and can see the advantages of having them all little at the same time. But we've been v happy with the 4yrs 4 months between DD and DS even though it wasn't planned that way - I feel they each had a good chunk of uninterrupted babyhood with me because DD had started school 2 wks before her bro was born. Swings and roundabouts, I reckon, as with so much to do with child-rearing. Fingers crossed for the 6 yrs 9 mths gap we're headed for now [oops]
JJ LOL @ yr doctor friend pretending to be a Holby fan . Illegal raves! Will you be taking the girls to Glasto this year?
