I have tested today being a day late. My boobs are not sore, and my back is aching. Feel a bit sick off and on, but think that is more to do with my anxiety. (really would like to be pg..)

Any one have any pearls of wisdom??

Biglips · 24/11/2008 12:40

A line is a line....congrats

(i had a vvvv faint grey line on the ebay cheapie stick and wasnt sure if i was pg or not...now ive got a 9 weeks old DD2 ).

MummyGorilla · 24/11/2008 12:41

Yes, a faint line is still a line. My first pregnancy was a really strong line, my second a really faint one, both resulted in healthy bouncing babies. Congrats and good luck!

doggiesayswoof · 24/11/2008 12:42

Congrats (you don't really get false positives).

It's unlikely you would feel sick so early anyway. Give it a couple of weeks...

Lemontart · 24/11/2008 12:43

my two faint lines are now 5 and 7 yrs old congrats

needamiracle · 24/11/2008 12:44

I still don't believe it. First pg was IVF (2nd attempt) - just feel teary and like my period is going to arrive at any minute. May have to go and get a few more tests to check again!!

Neeerly3 · 24/11/2008 14:12

i am 27 weeks with my feint line - i used ebay cheapies which say they detect VERY early causing me to test about 5 mins after having sex (joke ) ....however I bought a First Response to confirm the feint line and lo and behold, big FAT positive.........

wideratthehips · 24/11/2008 18:12

my feint line was born a 10lb 8oz monster!!!!

(a gorgeous one though)

EyeballsintheSky · 24/11/2008 18:14

My faint line is 10.5 months. Do you need any more?

Congratulations!

VanillaPumpkin · 24/11/2008 18:16

My very faint line is now 3 and refusing her tea at this very moment

needamiracle · 24/11/2008 18:49

Wow! So many positive stories - thank you! Have bought some more tests today and will test again later in the week, just to check (and if my period doesn't arrive before then!)

We are quietly very very happy, but trying not to get too excited yet!!

As if you need any more...got a very faint line and am now 30 weeks along, with the faint line currently jabbing me in the abdomen - presumably keen to come out!

I tested again two days later and got a better line. Another few days later hospital confirmed it. At the time of the first faint line I'd just had symptoms that made me think my period was coming. But I was wrong Congratulations!

teafortwo · 24/11/2008 23:15

I didn't believe my faint line so I got a test that says "Pregnant" not pregnant".

it said "Pregnant". I didn't believe that either so went to the drs. She got me to do a test and then said "You are definately pregnant".

I really didn't believe it fully until I had my first scan where I fell headover heels in love. It is an amazing moment!

I am not pregnant now because my faint line is 2 yrs 7 months!

Hey - Enjoy!!!!

Congratulations x x x

Lib76 · 25/11/2008 06:52

my faint line is now my 5 month old ds!! had such a faint line DH went out and bought 4 more!! all faint but still VERY positive! congrats all the best. x

June2009 · 25/11/2008 15:26

teafortwo
How comforting!! Exactly the same story for me.
Didn't beleive the faint line, didn't beleive the "pregnant", nor my doctor or the midwife, I am now waiting for the scan, 8 days to go, when I see the heartbeat then I will beleive it

TooMuchTV · 26/11/2008 07:23

My 9 wk old ds was the faintest of faint lines at 4+2 (did another test a few days later which wasn't quite so faint but still had to peer at it to see it )

pinkmunkee · 26/11/2008 08:41

Ooh! How exciting! Yep, my thin blue line turned into a thick blue line the next day and is now a 14mo beaming boy!

Congrats

pinkmunkee · 26/11/2008 08:42

BTW, I didn't believe it either- I did 7 tests in all, over a period of 5 weeks! Even after the first scan I kept imagining the baby had disappeared. I believe it now though, after 14 months of sleep disturbed nights!!!

lecohen · 26/11/2008 09:23

Ditto to what others have said....whispers congrats x
