Blimey - lots of chat today.
ladymac Wow - I think you're more than entitiled to a few wobbly tears. It must be very daunting and challenging, but you're a woman up to the job Plus, I think it'll be challenging and stimulating too. You'll also develop such a close relationship with Betsy through all this and it sounds to me as though her personality will carry her through it all admirably. She will also be able to mix confidently within two worlds - the hearing and the non/partial hearing.....a bit like being bi-lingual. Chances are she'll be terribly adept at taking things on without batting an eyelid. Of course - I was forgetting - she's a ginger - a 'chosen' one. She'll be fine and so will you x
ladymac Phil and Teds really aren't all they're cracked up to be. I should have gone for a side by side buggy. I don't like my P&T - There, I've said it! I've spotted one on the Mothercare website called First Wheels City Twin Pushchair and it can face forward, rear or one forward one rear. I'd definately have given this a test drive. P&T are too heavy - impossible to push wih one hand - dangerous when you take out the heavy child at the front - we've tipped over so many times - and bloody uncomfy, with thin little straps I loved the Bugaboo and am getting a standing-board for Iris for when the weather is nice.
lilibet gosh - getting stuck in the car! Pleased that your DC wasn't the culprit!
ermintrude Ouch! That sounds nasty - tooth pain is the devil's invention
tee well done on the duvet - am
MrB I LOVE a good, green poo with plenty of fart'age' for good measure
jw what can I say...you have a wet room?! POSH!!
Had Iris's friends over - they reaked havoc while us mums drank tea. If I'd been a good parent I'd have done something exciting with some bananas like ladymac although I thought of making them cake - but decided against it
