It's a GIRL!! Another one!! My third DD! I/we are over the moon, I could never ever imagine myself with a boy, I am such a girly girl and although I would have loved a little boy, a sister will be fantastic for my youngest DD especially. My poor DH is going to be fraught with all the hormones and weddings etc.

Also makes life a whole load easier, won't even have to do a nursery, new baby can just move straight into DD's nursery and she can go into a brand new room.

Can't wait! Just need to find a name now...

Hey, i'm with you there - in fact, did you rave with me in the 90's??

Unfortunately I can't fit into my tight black fecking anything though ...

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:20

Where you from Regina? I used to go out in Liverpool ALL the time.

Nor can I fit in to anything remotely tight atm but damn, next year, I will be back, better than ever!

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:25

Actually not far from you!! - been to the 051 a few times

Wigan Pier was favourite for us ...ahhhh those were the days ...

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:28

LMAO WIgan Pier! Do you ever hear of the Quadrant Park? QUALITY! I lived there from the age of 15, I had some of the best nights of my life there! 051 I never liked, it was a bit too mad!

I have a collection of music on my Itunes Library of ALL the old classic house music tunes and every now and again, I listen to them on my Ipod and bop around the house with the mop. Yesterday DD1 and I were dancing in the study to Bobby Brown's Every Little Step! That reminds me of when I was around 14 going to the disco. Memories.

PMSL

well I suppose I was being over ambitious with the Blu step....I'm only 5'2"

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:32

The cherry picker is so you can load all your shite into the roof box with ease! No going up and down the ladder then! I often wonder how people get their full roof boxes back down from the roof of the car?!

I meant to add earlier...at least you will get a second wear out of all DD2s clothes! I needed to buy some new babygros for DD today as we only have three in her size and she is in the middle of the age range.....so I bought some boy's ones knowing that I'll get a second wear out of them that way . Poor DD is going to be wearing a lot of rather boyish clothes from now on I think!

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:36

PMSL at you buying your poor DD boy's babygros! You selfish mother you, totally disregarding her feelings! Wait until she is told you did that, she will never ever forgive you!

I didn't keep anything of DD2's from before finding out i was pg again but now I am buying more decent clothes (Monsoon etc) thinking I will get double the wear (plus DH's sister works there so I get 50% off!) - I will wait until the sales and then go a bit mad. They only wear babygros for the first 2/3 months anyway. I could have done with stocking up on summer stuff for new baby for next year from the sales just finished but too late now...

Yes - i've heard of Quadrant Park, but i never went - i think i was a bit too young

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:55

I used to escape from the house and stay out all night so I was okay! you can see why I am worried about having 3 girls, I was crazeee.

LackaDAISYcal · 16/09/2008 00:01

I love babygros as jammies well into toddlerhood . she looks so cute pootling around the house in them....even if they are blue with doggies on

wait till DS2 has to wear the flowery ones

squatchette · 16/09/2008 00:20

Another Mum of 3 dds here 5,4 and nearly 2 weeks.I love having girls and got asked throughout being pregnant if i was gutted not to be having a boy this time.Don't know why people always presume it matters.Your girls are beautiful pg.
BTW i had a P&T and loved it ,also fitted in my scenics boot fine when i took it to the tip (the week before i found i was pg with dd3).
I also used to be a regular at Wigan Pier was no where near old enough to be there though. I just hope my girls don't spend their teens as i did -raving and misbehaving. It really is more of a worry with girls in that respect i think.

Alexa808 · 16/09/2008 06:25

Congratulations PGw3!! How cool is that

If you haven't heard about it already, go check out this book: www.amazon.com/Beautiful-People-Have-More-Daughters/dp/0399533656

Alexa808 · 16/09/2008 06:27

Wanted to add: your pictures confirm the book title... You have a gorgeous family!

pgwithnumber3 · 16/09/2008 07:30

How funny this thread has turned out to be about reminiscing about raving! I could still have a good go if I weren't pregnant! I might start a thread about raving in the late 80s/90s...

Thank you squatchette and Alexa - my girls are lovely!

Oh that book, I will have to buy that a leave it on the coffee table, god help my friends who have buys, they will hit me with it.
