It's a GIRL!! Another one!! My third DD! I/we are over the moon, I could never ever imagine myself with a boy, I am such a girly girl and although I would have loved a little boy, a sister will be fantastic for my youngest DD especially. My poor DH is going to be fraught with all the hormones and weddings etc.

Also makes life a whole load easier, won't even have to do a nursery, new baby can just move straight into DD's nursery and she can go into a brand new room.

Can't wait! Just need to find a name now...

Congratulations to you as well 4andnotout! Have you chosen a name yet? I take it you will only have around 13 months between your last 2? We should start our own thread for mums of multiple girls! What a laugh that would be in 13 years time.

congratulations, pg!

sweetkitty · 15/09/2008 22:26

congratulations as another mum of 3 girls it's fab (DD3 9 weeks old) (waves at dizzy too)

I have a red P&T sport and love it. The baby doesn't lie underneath but in the folded down bit of the pram the toddler sits on top, it's ideal for us as DD2 is 2 1/2 so walks some of the time and some of the time I need a sindle sometimes a double, I reckon by the time DD3 is out the cocoon DD2 will almost be walking most of the time. DD1 also goes in the front bit now and again when she's tired they swap over.

Like dizzy it's DD2 thats the wild one

Right dizzy when are we going for DD4 then?

dizzydixies · 15/09/2008 22:28

kitty you made me promise to remind you about your SPD when you started getting broody again lol

I would have loved a P&T but dd2 was too tall to fit in it and her head poked through the top so not much use to us

our single lives in the car and our double in the front porch for the walking

sweetkitty · 15/09/2008 22:30

I know dizzy I was utterly miserable whilst pregnant I hated every minute I could hardly walk but yet I am so DD3 may be my last.

dizzydixies · 15/09/2008 22:33

I shall have twin girls kitty and you can have one

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 22:33

Thanks expat! How is your family after the Hurricane?

Thanks as well sweetkitty, love hearing from these mums with all girls and how lovely it is. I just think with there be such a small gap between my 2 and that I walk a lot into my local town that DD2 would not nap in the toddler seat on top or the doubles kit on the bottom. A side by side (although not ideal size wise) would mean she could see more and rest.
I saw this Teutonia double on Kiddicare and I think this looks quite good. They are a german make I think which always pleases DH!

I will laugh if it turns out to be a boy, she did only say 95%

dizzydixies · 15/09/2008 22:35

its just not as pretty as the easywalker

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 22:40

You are just far too biased! I looks more boyish doesn't it but it is £100 cheaper.

ARGHHHH!!! Right, I need someone to just go out and buy me a double, I will give them the money, anything will do.

I will have to do some investigating nearer November/December and find a pram shop that does all the prams I want to look at. It is virtually impossible though as the majority of them aren't sold in Mothercare/John Lewis.

pg yes there will be 13 months gap if i make it to 40 weeks (low fluid) dd1 is 6 and dd3 is 3 so they are all realatively close but im having next year off!! We are thinking of calling her Tallulah-Belle but nothing is concrete as we keep changing! Dp says they will not be allowed out when they hit puberty until they are 30

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 22:42

LACKS didn't see your message before - your Scenic will be fine, loads of space in the boot, I usually keep the parcel shelf in the garage and it gives me oodles of space. I can 100% see the benefits of the P&T and EVERYONE who I speak to who has one loves it and I will probably regret never buying one.

Glad you are okay, how long have you got left now?

sweetkitty · 15/09/2008 22:43

pgwno3 - I can see your concerns dizzy's easywalker does look very comfy, DD2 never naps in the pram now so not a worry for us. Wth your age gap and if you do a lot of walking a side by side might be better but get one with big tyres I had a Twin Aria and it was rubbish at kerbs.

dizzy - done when you having these twin girls

Only downside of having 3 girls is all the arseholes people that look at your beautiful new baby girl then ask "were you trying for a boy" or "did you want a boy?"

Heartmum2Jamie · 15/09/2008 22:46

Congratulations!!! I am almost 34 weeks with my 3rd boy and am as excited about a 3rd boy as you are about a 3rd girl! It makes a refreshing change to hear so many people have positive things to say about having 3 (or more!) of the same gender. The "you must be disappointed" or "are you going to try for a girl?" comments do get tiresome after a while.

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 22:48

Thank you hatrick 3 girls, 4, 3 and 2 AND a DS! Where do you find the time to well, conceive them!? I know, it is hard to imagine having them before they are here but as soon as they are born, it seems totally normal! I think my DH is panicking a bit, I cope really well with my 2 and keep a tight ship at him but come the weekend, all hell breaks loose! He finds it hard looking after 2, with me being there so God help him with 3 and when I venture off to Las Vegas in a couple of years for 5 days on a girlie holiday!

4andnotout - Hope all goes well, I had the opposite to you (too much fluid) with DD2 and there was talk of CS but luckily, the levels dropped. Tallulah-Belle is not a name I personally would choose but it is gorgeous. Go for it!

sweetkitty, I can see already people getting a bit like that, me being me, they will be firmly put in their place!

Heartmum, Congratulations to you as well! 3 boys, that must be lovely! I can never imagine it though! I couldn't imagine 1 boy, never mind 3! My friend had three boys and I think people always imagine a woman yearns for a daughter but is isn't always necessarily the case. I think 3/4 of the same sex must be wonderful, especially when they are grown up. I would have LOVED a sister (2 brothers) but in a way, my mum couldn't have managed with more than 1 of me! She has her hands full with me and my brood already!

Reginaphilangy · 15/09/2008 23:00

Congratulations!!

Speaking as a fellow mum of 3 gorgeous girlies, i can honestly say there's no better combination

LackaDAISYcal · 15/09/2008 23:03

7(and a bit) weeks PGNo3

boy has it flown by!

We were thinking of getting a grill for between the back seat and the boot so we can pile it as high as we need...and we bought a roof box (ALDI, reduced to £60), so we will be fine for space! We need to learnt to travel light

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:05

Regina (love the name!) thank you! Not biased at all are we?!

I am just imagining years of singed carpet from hair straighteners and crying into their pillow because Billy from down the road doesn't fancy them but their elder sister.

DforDiva · 15/09/2008 23:05

congratulaions, dd3 is great, mummy needs girls

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:07

LMAO Lacks at you buying a roof box! What are you going to put in there? The P&T?! You will need to carry a little step ladder around with you, I can just imagine seeing a crazed mum pulling up outside school and out pops her steps to get her DC's school bags out of the roof box.

Ahh but there will never be a shortage of lippy when you need it

...and apparantly all the menstrual periods are supposed to synchronise - what fun

pgwithnumber3 · 15/09/2008 23:14

Oh feck re menstrual periods. My only saving grace is that DD1 will be 18 when DD2 reaches 13 so hopefully, we may have palmed her off to Uni the Convent

I will be one of those mum's of girls who tries to look younger than them, embarrassing them with my anecdotes about going raving in the 1990's and coming down to show their friends that damn, I can fit in my tight black mini from 1995.
