At how many weeks did you give birth to your first?

Just curious... wondering what's most "common"... I'm 36 weeks now and really need the full 40 weeks!! Wondering how common that is....

star6 - I'll see if I can find any info about splitting Paternity leave. Maybe the school would be understanding anyway (I know this is unlikely - I was a teacher and missed ALL my holidays during Mat leave)

I've just checked - you can't split Pat leave, you you'll have to be on time or 2 weeks late (and he can take his Pat leave after half term!!)

39 weeks for both of them.

I lead a very scheduled life... I'm sure it will come right at 40 weeks . HA! Look for my birth announcement either tomorrow or 1st November

I led a very scheduled life too and am a very punctual person! DS still decided to hang around. I was induced at 42 weeks, gave birth the following day.

Waters went at 39 weeks exactly, dd born 10 hours later

thought I would be early as my mum had all 4 of us early, went into Labour 40+5, DS born 40+6
Mum had been staying since 38 weeks due to predeliction for early babies!!

Waters broke at 41+3. DD born at 42 weeks exactly.

i am organised and punctual... and was upset when DS did not arrive on due date as ~I had planned! He came at 40+4

I was 10 days late so 41+3

39 weeks exactly, but 3 days labour so would have been a bit before...
