did anyone 'know' they were pregnant before they missed their first peiod?

I just knew. (Probably just wishful thinking and lucked out.) I was convinced my breasts were bigger, but no-one else could apparently see it.

Yep, knew both times. Needed to wee - quickly! very bloated. 1st time when I took my bra off I could have cried. both times felt so different that I took test before period due.

my periods are never regular so never notice that i have missed one. its always my mum that knows i am pg and gets me a test

Yes! My breasts felt funny, my mouth filled with that metallic taste and my waistbands shrunk at conception!

both times right after doing the deed.

yep knew second time, felt unusual tightening in womb area or erm something like that. not sure but yes did feel a difference. I assume that hormones can make a difference physically that can be felt even with tiny amounts.

But then I usually can guess when I'm ovulating too.

I am not an earth mother honest, with dd (pfb) I throw up every morning for 4 days sometime after conceiving and thought I was just stressed about up coming interview and yes I was ttc at time - dur.

Super-enhanced sense of smell.

Pregnancy 1 - I knew, pretty soon after conception, took a test 3 days before period due...wierd smells, sore boobs, and hrm to put it as politely as possible...I just smelt odd - noone else noticed though...phew

Pregnancy 2 - I had no flipping idea, took test when 2 weeks late, convinced I wasn't. I'm now 32 weeks so guess I was!

Good news though, pregnancy 2 has been physically easier all the way...I'm sure it's cos I breast fed no 1, until month 5.

I knew with my first three pg's within a couple of days after fertilisation(all boys)! I just knew. Also had sore, but 'different' feeling of my breasts.
I didn't feel the same with Dd though and didn't know at all.

I even got a BFN with ds2 and but didn't believe it.

With ds4 I was in denial so almost died of shock when I tested......

both times DH and I just knew. we lay in bed right after the deed and thought 'we just made a baby!' (both times we weren't trying)

Suspected first time - had stonking headache (which dont normally get).

Knew second time -stonking headache, sore boobs and slightly tender tummy area.

This is my first time on here. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I knew at 2 1/2 wks. I knew cos I couldn't fasten my jeans any more, started feeling tired every minute of the day and had some back ache due to my trouses been too tight. I think I have to already wear maternity trousers cos this is my 3rd, I have a near 3 year old and a near 17 year old.

First time - yes.
2nd and 3rd - no.

First pregnancy - went off my staple fags and booze (!!). Was over a week late but tests kept coming back negative, but I just knew and eventually got a very faint positive and was proved right.

Second pregnancy - had been ttc, but had no symptoms and only knew when I tested quite early on and got a BFP.

3rd pregnancy - had no idea until I puked up on a car journey and got suspicious enough to test...BFP!

I didn't but about 3 days before I was due on DH said your pregnant you look different I did a test and it was positive!

hehe, no symptoms or anything, but 3 days before I was due I had a dream where the cast of scrubs told me to take a test and it was positive. Bought one the next day and it was. Again, we were ttc, so probably wishful thinking and coincidence
