Do you know what cycle day you conceived on?

I am on cycle 3 of ttc properly, and just wondering what CD people think their beans were conceived on. I know obviously not everyone knows. I have been religiously following the CM but a colleague conceived on CD8 (only BD-ing that month) and OV-ed (according to EWCM) on CD 15. Anyone else had similar? I think I OV-ed on CD 16 this month but unfortunately we didn't manage it after CD12. So am not optimistic.... I would love to hear stories of conception 4-5 days before OV, if anyone managed it!

we conceived on day 10. not sure when i Oved though.

Um. Don't know all the jargon, but ds was definately conceived on the 10th day of my 27 day cycle (with day 1 being the day my period started) - DH worked away most of the time, so easy to be accurate...

You can know what day you had sex leading to conception, but conception can happen on a different day (eg egg released later while sperm still around, sperm take a while to get to egg, etc)

between CD48 and CD50 this time around. No idea about DS. Probably another late ov no doubt though

Yeah, I kind of meant what day did you have sex on which resulted in pg - sorry. Just trying to keep optimistic that CD12 might be possible.... fingers crossed! ANyone else?

Sorry, that was a bit off the point (have read op properly now).

I thought I'd done the deed too early the month I conceived. I was quite cross with DH for having a rotten cold as we'd been trying for over a year and I was getting frantic. It would have been at least 3 days before I think I ovulated. Maybe it will be a girl? Anyone doing Shettles for sex selection might be able to tell you some early day conception stories!

Forgot to say, that was about 3-4 days before ovulation. So I'm banking on this one being a girl

FallenMadonna - cycle day and egg-white cervical mucous. The stuff that is clear and stretchy and indicates fertility (well, you did ask)

Day 1 is the first day of your period.

I'm just weird, long pcos cycles I think the norm is anywhere between 25-35 days. You are most likely to ovulate very roughly up to 14/15 days before AF. I think Sperm can survive approximately up to 5 days so you could fall pregnant if you BD 5 days before ovulation

i ovulated day 36 of my cycle conceived day 30 or 33

well we didn't manage to have sex before the 18th day but i thought i had already OV a few days earlier. I'm surprised we managed to concieve to be honest. It was only our first month! (You can imagine that all i hear from hubby now is about his 'superspunk'.....yes dear......)

I had sex on CD 17 of a 30 day cycle, so some time around there.

Both mine I ov CD16 and 17 (i.e that's when the ov symbol came on on Persona) and both the relavent deed was on CD16, both boys.

oh and I always get the ov signs coming up 15/16 or 16/17 although cycle varies between 27-31, if that helps at all. I am sure first time took as a while as we weren't continuing far enough to 17.

this is my third pg and think conceived on cd14 although could be cd16 too. Ovulated on cd16. My cycles are 28-31.
