Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had pretty much no symptoms in my first pregnancy - never sick, no nausea - and baby was happy and healthy and everything straightforward! So not necessarily anything to worry about not feeling any symptoms ☺️

I feel like my symptoms also started around 6 weeks with my daughter, especially the nausea. I was having some nausea on and off and aching/cramping but that’s eased a bit now. I’m hoping it’s all normal! I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow

About the same here.

I remember thinking when pregnant with DC2 “oh, my morning sickness isn’t nearly so bad this time round!” Shortly before it kicked into gear and left me a nauseous mess. 😂 so I know it starts later than I think, but not exactly when that is…

Hi everyone, I’ve literally read all 11 pages on this thread and it’s lovely hearing everyone’s stories and congrats to you all. Im 5+3 days but feeling very mixed emotions atm as did a digital test around 4 weeks and the window said 2-3 weeks which was great and then during the past few days being over 5 weeks my window has said 1-2 weeks, so I’m really not feeling hopeful now , i know the tests can be inaccurate but the fact it’s actually gone backwards is a red flag for me, plus had brown spotting for over a week. Has anyone experienced this before. I have a 6 week scan on Wednesday x thanks

Sierra26 · 20/09/2026 07:01

I'm 6+1 now and still getting 2-3 wks on clear blue when should have been 3+ for over a week… i know i shouldn’t have kept testing (and i will stop now as im not going to buy any more!) but im pretty worried. For four years I’ve felt like a natural pregnancy was never going to happen for us so this really does feel too good to be true.

I have a few symptoms (soo tired, dizziness, hunger, nausea) so hoping that’s a good sign.

Have a private scan coming up this week, just want that to hurry up so I know!

Sierra26 · 20/09/2026 07:18

@Luanne1991 sorry to hear we’re in similar positions.

I have of course ripped my tests open and the main test line is darker than before, just not dark enough to trigger the 3+. Have you done that? I know I shouldn’t encourage it 🙈

If it reassures you at all, I had spotting from 4-6wks with my first pregnancy and all was good! None this time which I’m finding strange.

Lots riding on next week’s tests for us. I’ll be 6+3 and saw heartbeat at 6+2 last time. But that pregnancy was ivf so think it implanted quicker (and I was getting super strong 3+ really early on!).

Sierra26 · 20/09/2026 07:35

@ttcin2026 have you managed to step away from the tests?

MixedBananas · 20/09/2026 07:53

All the beat to those who are having issues with the Clear Blue.
I wouod just to put your mind at ease be getting a BHCG and contacting your team.

BelleSprout · 20/09/2026 08:08

I was planning on doing a clear blue in the next couple of days but I’m debating it now 😅 last month I tried to get bloods to check my HCG but I was told no so never bothered asking this time but I am going to contact the midwife tomorrow and just see if there’s any early reassurance they can offer.

The anxiety is hard! I never worried about any of this with my first pregnancy

Sierra26 · 20/09/2026 08:17

Yeah I think I’d need to go find a private HCG test. My only reason for concern is the low CB result and I know the EPU or midwife team would just tell me to ignore them!

Given my scan is only a few days away I’ll wait for that then if we can’t see a heartbeat I’ll do HCG.

FolkSongSweet · 20/09/2026 09:58

I’ve heard bad things about clearblue digitals in the past. If you look up hcg ranges there is an absolutely massive range for normal in the early days so I think it’s completely possible that they’re inaccurate, and best thing is to get hcg tests and/or a scan.

On the nausea front, I was worrying about this on Friday and then it started for me yesterday. Definitely present now today at 5+5. I’ve had one pregnancy in the past with no sickness (my DC1 - boy) but have had horrible constant nausea for the others (my DC2 - girl and some mcs that I’ve been sure were also girls). Taking this as a good sign that things are ok for now.

Morning everyone! Just a question, I’m 8 weeks and I’ve booked in a dating scan tomorrow. For those who have had their scans around this time, has it been a normal scan or done vaginally? I’m wondering if I could ask them to try normally first?

With my daughter I had a scan at 8 weeks and they could see everything with a normal scan. They said if they couldn’t see what they needed then they’d do an internal but it wasn’t needed. Just make sure to go with a full bladder :)

Thank you hun and thank you also for reminding me about going with a full bladder! Fingers crossed! I had a vaginal scan with my 1st at 6 weeks and I’d rather not again if possible lol xx

I was going to ask this exact question. Having an early scan on Thursday where I'll be 7 weeks and 5 days. Having the scan because of some light brown spotting but it does seem to have become less frequent so fingers crossed. Hope yours is easy and everything looks good.
I'll try keep a full bladder but I need to pee quite often so we'll see how that goes.

laesosalt · 20/09/2026 12:38

@MummaAgain2026 My scan at 8 weeks last time was not transvaginal and I saw everything clearly, albeit very small 😊

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 20/09/2026 13:08

My nausea was awful, woke up yesterday feeling great, managed to eat yesterday. Panicked.... yeah I've barely left the bathroom since I woke up. I feel even worse than before. Thankfully I can start taking the anti nausea meds today (had to wait as can't drive etc when you start as makes you drowsy and I needed to be able to drive until today).

Last successful pregnancy I lost 6kg first trimester, I've already lost 2kg this time.

Previous pregnancy by 8 weeks they could just do a normal scan as they were able to see everything so you should be OK!

I had an EPAU scan first pregnancy at 7+5 and was fine outside with a full bladder. I went to EPAU this time and my bladder was so full they managed to get most of what they needed externally at 5+6 but did need to go internal for last couple bits because uterus is retroverted.

ttcin2026 · 20/09/2026 18:01

@Sierra26i have managed to step away from the tests since I got my 3+ the other day. I feel like I’m struggling without them though, symptoms don’t seem as strong/barely noticing any and I’m wondering what’s going on in there. 6w today by LMP but 5+4 by ovulation. EPU are scanning me in two weeks time because my last mmc was a partial molar.

So fascinating you had different sickness with different pregnancies. Mine were about the same with first 2, one boy one girl.

I know someone with no sickness first time round who has hospitalised with dehydration the second pregnancy, they had different fathers though so that’s her theory!

Ataneli · 20/09/2026 20:43

I'm around 5/6 weeks ish and for the last few days I've been getting a really sharp one sided pain near my left ovary. It doesn't stay but keeps coming back.

What would you guys do?

I'm thinking of calling the GP and asking them to refer me to EPAU for a scan to check the sack location. Or failing that I might book a private scan..

Thats interesting my local team don not discard concerns and will deffo refer for early scan / blood work.
I live in Wales.

Interesting. I had nausea with ny two boys, and 1 miscarriage. I assumed was a boy 😬

MixedBananas · 20/09/2026 21:07

Is anyone experiencing blocked nose. I am finding it hard to sleep at night and breath in the day. Any home remedies?

Heartofhope · 20/09/2026 22:05

@Ataneli i would definitely phone your early pregnancy unit - I don’t know where you are but I am in Scotland and I would bypass the GP and phone them direct but may be different where you live. I did have cramping last weekend but mild to moderate and from what I’ve read it seems normal but yours sounds one sided so definitely best to get it checked. Hope you can get seen and everything is developing well 🤞🏼♥️
