Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

Just checking in, I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and feeling nervous 🫣

I haven’t had my booking in appointment yet (due date 30 March). I’ll be 9 weeks on Tuesday so worried it’s cutting it fine. I’ve been signed up on my pregnancy notes since 5 weeks because I’m ultra keen 😂

Should I contact them, do you think? Or wait for them to contact me?

@greenshirt06 I’d give them a ring. In my trust we wouldn’t get booked in for a 12w scan without a booking appt

Hey everyone, all was well and baby was sooo active. It was amazing to see their tiny little fingers and toes, it was so detailed compared to the scan at 7 weeks which was pretty much just a blob 😅

They put my dates forward, so I'm actually now due at the end of Feb haha but I think I will stay here.

I would give them a call 😊 my appointment was at 9 weeks then they booked my scan in.

Whats the latest date u can have ur dating scan ? I'm 12 +3 and there's no sign of an appointment yet

I also have a question, is it possible to feel baby movement, i feel baby movement on the left side when I lie down at night

They do it between 11 and 14 weeks, have you had your booking appointment? Usually after that appt the midwife will send off the request. If you've not heard anything re scan I'd call the midwifery team xx

You've got plenty of time but definitely contact them. My midwife booked mine a while ago!

How many weeks are you? I can only regurgitate what Google says as I'm pregnant with my first!

I also wanted to ask, im 12 weeks nd I started to get slightly brown discharge when I wipe . Sometimes only. Nd there's no blood but sometimes I cn see a very tiny tissue in the toilet after I urinate.

Just wanted to say thanks for the well wishes, figured I should update before leaving the group 😢

Had an NHS scan with EPU, basically a confirmation of missed miscarriage but they technically needed a second to confirm no growth. That would have happened today had I not had a pretty traumatic miscarriage over the weekend where I ended up in hospital. I'll leave out the details as I don't want to give anyone unnecessary fears!

We're pretty heartbroken but decided we'd let ourselves recover and try again when the time feels right.

So sorry to hear that, its absolutely devastating, im so anxious this time as well. I feel like im not even pregnant, then im getting thoughts that my baby is probably not even alive . I really need that scan for peace of mind.

I think brown discharge which is only when I wipe is really making me paranoid and anxious

@Accbabymom1994 if you’re worried, contact your local EPAU. I had brown spotting for about 2/3 weeks from about wk5-7/8. Had a scan at week 7 and all okay, haven’t had any bleeding since.

I went into A and E , been there whole day they had to rule out my chest pain . I ended up being referred to EPU and they said they will call me within 24 hours
